Course Description:
Junior Ballet I is a 60-minute foundational course designed for students ages 8–13 with little to moderate experience in classical ballet. This introductory class builds technical understanding, physical discipline, and expressive artistry in a supportive and structured environment.

Students are guided through the core elements of ballet technique, including posture, turnout, alignment, and musical phrasing, while developing the strength and flexibility essential to all forms of dance. Emphasis is placed on building confidence, coordination, and respect for the tradition of classical ballet.

Class Focus Areas:
• Fundamental barre and center exercises
• Introduction to classical ballet vocabulary and technique
• Development of proper body alignment and turnout
• Musical awareness and expression through movement
• Understanding of classroom etiquette and discipline

This course serves as a technical cornerstone for all dancers in the Open Division and provides a strong base for continued study across dance styles.

Enrollment Requirement:
• Required foundational class for all Open Division students; must be taken prior to or alongside enrollment in other Open Division technique classes.

Course Description:
The Primary Ballet & Acro Combo is an energetic and developmentally focused 60-minute class designed to introduce young dancers to the foundational principles of classical ballet and acrobatics. Geared for children ages 3–7, this two-style combo builds essential motor skills, musicality, coordination, and flexibility in a fun and nurturing environment.

Through creative instruction and age-appropriate progressions, students explore the grace and structure of ballet alongside the strength and agility of acrobatic movement—building a versatile base for future training across multiple dance disciplines.

Class Focus Areas:

• Ballet: Basic positions, posture, arm and foot placement, classroom etiquette
• Acrobatics: Introductory tumbling, balance work, safe flexibility, body control
• Development of rhythm, musical awareness, and creative movement
• Confidence-building through structured learning and imaginative play

Enrollment Requirements:

• Open to new and returning students ages 3–7
• No prior dance experience required

Self-Care Sundays: Stretch • Strengthen • Restore is a four-week adult wellness and fitness workshop designed to support whole-body health through intentional movement, mindful strength training, and restorative practices. This intimate, small-group experience invites participants to reconnect with their bodies while building strength, flexibility, and balance in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Each session begins with guided stretching and mindfulness practices to release tension, improve mobility, and cultivate body awareness. Participants then engage in strength-building exercises rooted in dance techniques that develop core stability, alignment, and total-body control. The workshop concludes with restorative movement and rhythmic flow, allowing the body to reset, recover, and prepare for the week ahead.

Open to all experience levels, Self-Care Sundays is ideal for adults seeking a gentle yet effective approach to wellness, movement longevity, and stress relief. This series offers the perfect reset—nurturing both body and mind through intentional care, movement, and breath.
