Please register for a trial if you are not sure about commiting to a class and choose the Monday February 9th trial date. Our Preschool Ballet class is a gentle, imaginative introduction to dance, designed especially for children aged 3–4 years. Classes focus on developing coordination, balance, posture, and musicality through age-appropriate ballet movement, creative play, and storytelling.
Dancers will explore basic ballet positions and steps while building confidence, listening skills, and classroom independence in a fun, nurturing environment. Each class encourages self-expression and joy of movement, helping young dancers develop a love of dance while laying strong foundations for future training.
No prior experience is required.

Acro level 1 (Beginner)
Acro Level 1 introduces dancers to the fundamentals of acrobatics in a safe, supportive environment. Students learn bridges, basic balances, handstand prep, rolls, and stretches to build strength and flexibility. The focus is on correct technique, body awareness, and confidence.
Acro is an adding class - dancers must also enrol in another style (Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, or Lyrical). All dancers perform in both the mid-year recital and end-of-year show. Ages are a guideline only and experience is considered.
Entrance to this is beginner.

Preschool Funk
Our Preschool Funk class is a high-energy, fun-filled introduction to dance for children aged 3–4 years. Using upbeat music and simple, age-appropriate movements, dancers develop coordination, rhythm, and body awareness while having a great time.
Classes focus on learning basic funk and hip-hop inspired steps through games, creative movement, and imaginative play. This class supports confidence, musicality, and social skills in a positive, encouraging environment, while helping little dancers burn energy and express themselves freely.
No previous dance experience is needed.

Hip Hop Evolve is an extension class created for primary-aged dancers who show strong potential in hip hop and are ready for more challenge than their standard level. This class introduces deeper musicality, more detailed grooves, faster choreography, and developing footwork patterns. Dancers strengthen technique, confidence, style, and performance quality while working at a more advanced pace.
Entry into this class is by teacher recommendation only to ensure dancers are ready for the increased challenge. All Hip Hop classes perform in both the mid-year recital and end-of-year show. Ages are a guideline only - placement is based on ability, focus, and readiness.
Entry Guidelines - Best suited for dancers who:

Hiphop Intermediate (Ages 11+)
Hip Hop Intermediate takes dancers into a more mature level of hip hop training. Students explore isolations, footwork variations, grooves with texture, dynamic musicality, and faster, more complex choreography. This class strengthens confidence, coordination, stamina, and performance presence while encouraging dancers to develop their own style.
All Hip Hop classes perform in both the mid-year recital and end-of-year show. Ages are a guideline - dancers are placed by technique, experience, focus, and readiness for intermediate-level challenge.
Entry Guidelines - Best suited for dancers who:
✔ Have strong foundational hip hop skills (grooves, isolations, rhythm)
✔ Can pick up choreography at a moderate to fast pace
✔ Show musicality, texture, and developing style
✔ Can execute clean footwork patterns and transitions
✔ Maintain strong focus, commitment, and teamwork
✔ Are ready for longer, more detailed choreography
✔ (Optional but helpful) Train in multiple classes or styles for versatility

Jazz Grade 2 (Ages 8-10)
Jazz Grade 2 extends dancers’ technique with more structured NZAMD syllabus work, including stronger kicks, coordinated turning exercises, travelling steps, and developing jump vocabulary. Dancers build confidence, posture, alignment, and performance energy while strengthening the foundational skills needed for higher jazz grades.
NZAMD exams are optional and usually held around September. All dancers perform in both the mid-year recital and end-of-year show. Ages are a guideline only - placement is based on technique, experience, and readiness.

Jazz Pre-Elementary (Ages 12-13)
Jazz Pre-Elementary strengthens dancers’ intermediate technique while introducing senior-level expectations. Students work on turning consistency, controlled extensions, leaps, flexibility, and expressive style. This level focuses on clean lines, musical precision, and developing the technical and artistic maturity needed for Elementary Jazz.
NZAMD exams are optional and held around September. All dancers perform in both the mid-year recital and end-of-year show. Ages are a guideline only - placement is based on technique, experience, and readiness.

✔ Demonstrate strong, controlled kicks and extensions
✔ Show developing flexibility in legs, hips, and back

✔ Have completed Jazz Grade 5 or equivalent training

Dancers learn foundational grooves, rhythm, isolations, footwork, and accessible choreography in a pressure-free and encouraging environment. The focus is on enjoyment, confidence, fitness, expression, and connecting with others while exploring hip hop movement.
Adults may choose whether they perform in the mid-year recital and end-of-year show - participation is completely optional.

✔ Those wanting a fun, social class with supportive vibes
