June Intensive Add-On: A Day-Your-Way in NYC!
That's right, we are bound for New York City! For anyone who participated in the June Adult Intensive or one of our June Mini-Intensives, hop on the bus for a day-your-way in NYC. Take classes, go shopping, see a show...whatever makes your Big Apple dreams come true. Any youth dancer participating is required to have an adult chaperone.
Bus will depart HSDA at 7:00 a.m., and will leave the city around 7:00 p.m., returning to the studio around 10:00 p.m.
That's right, we are bound for New York City! For anyone who participated in the June Adult Intensive or one of our June Mini-Intensives, hop on the bus for a day-your-way in NYC. Summer Street Jazz
Street Jazz combines elements of hip hop and commercial jazz into a dynamic style that emphasizes choreography, improvisation, and performance to create a powerful and confident dancer. Dancers will unleash their creativity through improvisation, and learn to quickly pick up choreography in various combinations throughout the year. Students will gain stage presence and boost their confidence through in-class performances while being uplifted by their peers. They will explore movement dynamics, understand musicality, and embrace their unique aesthetic as a dancer. Street Jazz offers an empowering and transformative experience for students ages 13+ who are enrolled in both Hip Hop and Jazz; must be enrolled in Level 6+ Hip Hop or Level 5+ Jazz.
