Pre - Pointe/Pointe
This class prepares dancers for safe and successful pointe work through focused training in strength, alignment, placement, balance, stability, and classical ballet technique. Barre and center exercises help dancers develop the foot, ankle, leg, and core strength needed to support pointe work safely and effectively. Pre-pointe dancers will build the foundational skills required before beginning pointe shoes, while pointe dancers will continue refining their technique, control, confidence, and strength en pointe. Teacher approval and placement are required for enrollment to ensure each dancer is physically and technically prepared for this level of training.
Requirements: Pink Ballet slippers (full sole preferred), ballet pink tights, black leotard, hair secured back from face in ponytail or bun.Β NO half-sole turners or jazz shoes allowed. NO street or workout clothes are allowed. Consistent attendance is important.
