Ballet Intensive - Fouetté Co., Balancé Co., Jeté Co., Piqué Co., Bourré Co. and Elevé Co.
Ballet Summer Intensive will be held all of June starting the week of June 3rd. During this month students will attend ballet class on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10:00-2:00 PM. Ballet Summer Intensive combines multiple levels of ballet students together to get an in-depth study of the ballet levels 1-5. Students will practice barre work, center floor, across the floor, learn new choreography and performing techniques. Summer Intensive ends with a performance. This year all ballet students will participate in: Beauty and the Beast!
Lunch Break: All students will have a lunch break from 11:45-12:15 PM - students cannot leave the studio to go get food. Students must bring a home lunch.
New Pointe Students: During Ballet Intensive, New Pointe Students will attend class early the first week. Starting at 9:00 AM to learn how to put on their pointe shoes, and basic, proper skills to start their pointe journey.
Dress Code: Ballet Attire (Girls: black leotard, ballet pink tights, ballet pink shoes, Boys: black or white shirt, black shorts/pants, black ballet shoes or black socks.)

Back Handspring ONLY Class
This class is solely for students who want to get their BACK HANDSPRING! This class will come in and stretch and then will work back handsprings for the remainder of the hour. This class will NOT do back bends, back walkovers, front walkovers, etc... (for those tricks join a tumbling class). This class is ideal for students wanted to get a back handspring for cheer tryouts, dance tryouts or for their routines throughout the year.
Tuition:
If you are NOT enrolled in any class at Madi's Academy this class is $40 per month - tuition.

These teams are for dancers/cheerleaders who want more hours in the studio while competing in multiple dance/cheer competitions, performing in the Nutcracker Performance and also the Spring Showcase. Dancers will learn choreography and compete with routines in Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip- Hop, Pointe and Jazz. Cheerleaders will compete in a cheer routine. Hours depend on the team/age/level. All dance company teams take ballet & tumbling in their set team hours. Cheerleaders take tumbling in their set team hours.
Dress Code: Class Outfit & Ballet attire on ballet days. Hair needs to be pulled back, out of face.

Want to perform a Solo? Solos are the perfect way to get 1on1 time with one of our amazing teachers, learn a routine of the style of your choice; Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Cheer or Ballet. And get the opportunity to perform individually while building confidence. Solos will perform in May! (this solo will not compete in competitions)
How Solos Work:
Solos are broken down into 10 practices, 30 minutes long. During these practice, a custom solo routine is created (around 2 mins long) to highlight the student's strengths while 1 on 1 time is given to help the student reach their full potential. Student must additionally practice at home too. By the end of these 10 practices, the student will have a full solo ready to perform!
Costs:
Solo Cost: $250 - Billed at time of sign up
Solo Costume: $80 - Billed March 1st
After you sign up HERE, and pay the $250 one time cost of the solo, we will contact you about setting up your solo practices and solo teacher. Solo practices will NOT start until after 01/01/25.

Tumble Tots & Grown Ups
Tumble Tots & Grown Ups is a tumbling class specific for young children who want to begin basic tumbling skills, explore our tumbling equipment and practice coordination with a Parent or Guardian. During this class, each student participates with the help of their “Grown Up.”
How this class works? Each student brings 1 Parent or Guardian with them. The first 5 minutes of class the teacher will lead a tumbling warm up with all the students, followed by a quick 5 minute lesson of 3 basic tumbling tricks and how to execute them safely. Following this demonstration students and there Parent/Guardian are invited to Tumble by themselves and try out the tumbling equipment. This class promotes self exploration with their Parent/Guardian.
Each child in the room MUST be registered in the class. Only 1 Parent/Guardian per student. We do not allow additional children or additional parents to watch around the edge, as it takes from valuable tumbling space.
This class does not perform in Spring Showcase or Nutcracker. No costumes fees.
Attire: Students, please wear something you can move in. With bare feet. We do not allow street shoes or socks on the mats.
