This class is designed to be the natural progression from our Beginner Plus Class where we will be showing you Silver level routines.

On the second Saturday of every month we hold our Saturday Night Social where members of Starlight Dancing and non-members can come along to socialise with friends, test their general knowledge in our quiz and enjoy dancing the night away.
We accommodate a multitude of dances and styles, from Argentine Tango to Jive, Foxtrot to Sequence.
Dancers of all abilities are welcome and no partner is needed to attend this event.

Our Intermediate Class is the next step for dancers who have built confidence in our Beginner Plus level and want to push their dancing further. You’ll work across all the core Ballroom and Latin dances (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive), with occasional extras like Paso Doble, Viennese Waltz, Salsa, and Argentine Tango added in for variety.
This is where we start introducing Silver-level routines and helping you develop stronger technique, smoother movement, and greater confidence on the floor. If you’re keen to expand your repertoire and feel your dancing progress week by week, this is the class for you.

This June, we will be teaching the Rumba. The Rumba is a beautiful, slow, latin dance that provides plenty of time to be planning your next move. It has quickly repeating basics which makes it a great dance for Beginners to get on with. You'll be Rumba-ing from week 1!
