Drill Team Intensive (ages 11+)
This intensive is designed for dancers who are currently a part of the IMS Drill Team or who have at least two years of previous dance experience. Dancers who are ten to eleven years old must be entering sixth grade to enroll.
Taught by Ms. Stevie and Ms. Molly (former MIHS Drill Team Captain), the Drill Team Intensive will challenge your current or aspiring drill team members to reach their full potential. This packed week will include classes that focus on conditioning, military, kicks, skills, technique, acro, and more!
Ages 11 - 17

This introductory ballet and dance class is appropriate for children ages 2.5-4 years old!
-Dancers MUST be potty trained at the time of enrollment.
-Parent participation is not allowed. If your dancer is not potty trained and/or is unable to be independent in class, we recommend enrolling in Dance With Me!

Dancer must be placed in ballet levels 2 through 5 and/or Beginning/Intermediate to Intermediate Level classes to register for this class unless they have teacher approval.
Strength & Flexibility focuses on improving the balance, coordination, flexibility, and stability that is necessary for clean turns and powerful jumps! Using a combination of Pilates, Barre, and Floor Barre techniques, Strength & Flexibility will help your dancer develop the core, leg, and arm strength that will bring their dancing to the next level.

In addition to learning the foundations of ballet technique and artistry, Ballet 1 dancers will also explore lyrical during the last portion of their class. Lyrical encourages dancers to learn how to emotionally connect with the music and tell a story through their movement while emphasizing fluidity and grace. Lyrical enhances ballet training and is recommended for all students enrolled in ballet.
