Pre-Pointe Ballet
This class is designed for dedicated ballet students preparing for the transition to pointe work. Admission is by recommendation only, based on technical readiness, strength, and commitment. Pre-Pointe must be taken four days per week to ensure consistent progress and proper conditioning.
The focus of the class is on building the strength, alignment, and technique necessary for pointe work. Students will engage in targeted exercises that support ankle stability, core control, and overall body awareness. While this class is an essential step toward dancing on pointe, participation does not guarantee a specific timeline for being approved for pointe shoes—each dancer’s readiness is evaluated individually and with great care.
