Kieran McDonald is a New York City based dance artist and choreographer, represented by MSA Talent Agency. Originally from Paisley, Scotland and Edmonton, Alberta, Kieran's extensive training includes an International Baccalaureate Dance Diploma from Victoria School for the Arts and intensive study at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. His professional journey has been shaped by the mentorship of industry leaders like Ray Leeper, Dana Foglia and Stacey Tookey.
Kieran's collaborative work spans a wide range of renowned choreographers including Marguerite Derricks, Will Loftis, Martha Nichols, Travis Wall, Jason Parsons, Kathryn McCormick, Kristin Gorski, Lukas McFarlane and Chrissie Cartwright. He also contributed to the workshop of The Prince of Egypt, a musical adaptation choreographed by Sean Cheesman that debuted on London's West End in 2020. His performance credits also include working with best-selling recording artists Alessia Cara and Shawn Hook.
Recently, Kieran served as an associate choreographer and dance captain for Grease at the MGM Beau Rivage. He extensively toured the United States, Canada and Mexico as the Dance Captain and Swing on the Broadway National Tour of CATS the musical, featuring Andy Blankenbeuler's choreography. His work extends to a global campaign with the fashion house Gucci and a performance at the Paleyfest with the Amazon Prime Original "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Kieran's artistic achievements have been featured in publications such as Dance Teacher Magazine and DanceLife Australia. He frequently travels nationwide teaching master classes and judging various dance competitions, including Groove National Dance Competition, Starbound National Talent Competition and Starquest Dance Competition.
