Shooting Stars is a class for 5-7 years olds. It is the next level up from Shining Stars. This class Tap, Ballet, and Yoga. Students are now learning dance steps which require good balance, knowing left and right, hoping on one foot, and using counting knowledge in our choreography. This class is 40 minutes.

Jazz classes allow the student to explore a range of motion and emphasize character and expression through dance. (Ballet is recommended prior to and while taking jazz classes.)
This level IV class is for the student that has taken level I for at least 2 years and their teacher has recommended that they move up. The students should have the basics of a jazz turn, chaine turn, grand jete, pas de burre and chase combinations. Moving up to level II means the student is willing to practice their dance at home as well as stretch on days they are not in class in order to increase flexibility and prevent injuries.

This class is a blending of jazz and modern technique with the release of the spine and turned in movements to create fluid, challenging choreography. This class often includes jumps, dance improvisation, and floor work. Dancers will gain and improve strength and be challenged to create choreography and interact with other dancers through improvisation.
Completion of Contemporary II for 1-3 years and approval from teacher is needed to enroll in this class. Enrollment in a ballet and jazz class is required. This will allow you to progress into Contemporary Teen and to have an effective time in class. Enrollment in Level III ballet and level III jazz is preferred.

Jazz classes allow the student to explore a range of motion and emphasize character and expression through dance. (Ballet is recommended prior to and while taking jazz classes.)
This level class is for the student that wants to learn beginning Jazz technique and also for the student who wants to improve their technique and their teacher is interested in moving them up a level. The students will learn the basics of a jazz turn, chaine turn, grand jete, pas de bourre and chase combinations. Moving up to level II means the student is willing to practice their dance at home as well as stretch on days they are not in class in order to increase flexibility and prevent injuries.

This is the next step up from Hip Hop Jr. This class integrates innovative choreography through stops, suspensions, and musicality. Paying attention to beats in the music and cues from singers, dancers will develop muscle strength and isolation as they discover their own style while practicing to hip-hop music.
