2026 Potato Festival Parade
Potato Festival Parade Sign Up
All dancers are welcome to join us in the Alliston Potato Festival Parade Friday August 7. Parade starts at 7pm. All dancers ages 7 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All dancers ages 8+ are expected to attend our rehearsals to learn the parade routine. Rehearsal take place in studio one, Wednesday August 5 at 6pm Rehearsal will last approximately 30 minutes. Dancers are to meet TDW staff at our parade starting position along Victoria street (location still TBD) at 6:20pm. Pick-up is at the Alliston Memorial Arena at approximately 8pm. Pick-up time is largely dependent on our position in the parade lineup. All dancers should wear comfortable footwear ( no crocs or flip flops for dancer safety) a studio t-shirt and black shorts or bottoms. Dancers should not bring personal items with them, like water bottles as we do not have a spot to keep them. We will have a wagon with water and paper cups walk alongside us in the parade.

** Perquisite is Primary Acro or equivalent ** Minimum age for this class is 8YRS. Students in the class must already be able to do a somersault, pre-cartwheel, and push up to bridge ( weight centered or into the shoulders, their head must not be on the floor). Students will work on teddy bear stands, cartwheels (straight legs, equal split), wall hand stands and straight handstands and more. Students may be moved into a more suitable class within the first first few weeks of fall session based on the skills level they demonstrates in class.

Students in the class must already be able to do a somersault, push up to bridge, cartwheels (straight legs, equal split, right and left), wall hand stands and straight handstands, headstands and more. Students should have their pre-splits in all directions within 6 inches from the floor. Students will be working towards bridge variations. Students may be moved into a more suitable class within the first first few weeks of fall session based on the skills level they demonstrates in class.

My First Dance Class
A ballet inspired class for children 22 months-2.5 years of age. Parents attend class with their child to provide them with any additional support they may need.
