Camp will be led by TDW staff. All TDW staff have their first aid and CPR certification and Vulnerable Sector Screening completed.
Kids will participate in a minimum of 2 dance classes and complete a craft with Miss Tabitha, from Tab Creates. Miss Tabitha is an accomplished local artist who has been working with The Dance Workshop since 2014. Weather permitting we will walk to the park for outdoor play. We will finish the day with games and a dance party.

** Perquisite is Level 1/2 or equivalent ** Minimum age for this class is 8YRS. Students in the class must already be able to do a somersault, push up to bridge, cartwheels (straight legs, equal split, right and left), wall hand stands and straight handstands, headstands and more. Students should have their pre-splits in all directions within 6 inches from the floor. Students will be working towards bridge variations. Students may be moved into a more suitable class within the first first few weeks of fall session based on the skills level they demonstrates in class.

My First Dance Class
A ballet inspired class for children 22 months-2.5 years of age. Parents attend class with their child to provide them with any additional support they may need. New this Season we have a Combo Jazz and Tap class for ages 5 to 6. This class is 55 mins long. Dancers in this class will perform two routines in recital next spring. This class has only one costume fee in winter session. The costume will be a special 2 in one costume.
Jazz dance is characterized by its jumps, kicks and turns. Tap uses the feet as a percussion instrument.
