Hey Dance Family!
We want YOU to be part of one of the BEST dances in our recital — THE DAD DANCE!
This is a beloved Carolyn’s Dancenter tradition, where our dancers take the stage to perform a fun routine with their dad (or one special adult in their life). Uncles, grandpas, moms, and other special grown-ups are absolutely welcome — we just limit it to one special person.
It’s always a highlight of the recital and creates unforgettable memories for both dancers and families. We can’t wait to have you join us! Check out all of the details below:

- Participants are expected to attend the majority of the rehearsals as we have a lot to get done in a short amount of time.
- Wear comfy clothes. Dads will have to take off shoes (we recommend grip socks), dancers may wear lyrical, ballet or jazz shoes.
- All ages are welcome to participate, however it is recommended for dancers 4 years old & up. This class is about fun, bonding with your family and making memories rather than mastering every dance step!
- Only dancers and their plus one will be permitted inside the studio as the lobby is closed to all except dancers and staff.
