6 Week Monday Mini Intensive Series (6-wks, 1 day/wk) - Conditioning, Ballet, Modern, Pre-Pointe/Pointe/Men's, Variations, Dance Composition
This mini intensive series is for Pre-Teen through Adults and is a multi-level series.
All non-ballet classes offered in the series are open to beginners and those with more experience.
If you are a beginner to Ballet you are welcome to participate and modifications will be made for you, however please note the class will be conducted at a faster pace that will challenge those who are not new to ballet.
June 2, 16 and July 7
5:00 - 5:30 - Conditioning and Kinesiology for Dancers and Vocabulary (learn a variety of safe exercises that will strengthen and stretch for your body that you can do on a daily basis and as a warm up prior to classes. Anatomical vocabulary and ballet vocabulary will also be included.)
5:30 - 7:00 - Ballet (Teen/Adult Ballet (Differentiated exercises to accommodate the Beginner and still challenge the Intermediate/advanced Dancer.)
7:05 - 8:45 - Modern and Dance Composition ( Modern dance technique followed by the opportunity for dancers to learn choreographic vocabulary to create your own dances. The class will decide if they want to create individually, small group, or as a class a piece. An opportunity to show family at the end of the session will be up to the class).
June: 9, 23 and July 14

The pre-pointe/pointe and men's work will be followed by the learning of a variation dance with the opportunity to share with family at the end of the session).
