Welcome Dancers!

Welcome to our 11th season of dance! Whether you are returning for another year of growth or
stepping into our studio for the very first time, we are thrilled to have you apart of the 804 dance fam this year. Our hearts are smiling knowing we will be spending each week with your child and experiencing all the wonderful opportunities a dance class provides. Arriving at this milestone (our 11th season) is an achievement we built together. It represents a decade of growth and connection and we are leaping into this new chapter with more energy and vision than
ever before. Our mission is to continue to provide a well rounded dance education in a safe and nurturing environment so our dancers can reach for the stars!

Dress Code Guidelines

General Guidelines: All dancers are expected to follow the dress code and arrive to class wearing
fitted dancewear like leotards, tights, leggings, and form fitting shorts and tank tops so dance
teachers can see alignment. Hair pulled back and secured away from the neck and face in a ponytail
or braid or ballet bun. Minimal to no jewelry for safety. Dance shoes should only be worn inside the
studio. When leaving 804, please change into your street shoes. Street shoes are not allowed in the
studio rooms. See below for class-specific requirements:

CREATIVE MOVEMENT & DANCE CAMPS & PETITE FEET (3-5 years)
Solid Color Leotard (Pink or Black encouraged)
Ballet Skirt (Optional)
*Pink Tights
Pink Leather Ballet Shoes
Hair pulled back and secured away from face

TUTU BALLET (6-8 years)
Solid Color Leotard
Ballet Skirt (Optional)
*Pink Tights
Pink Leather Ballet Shoes
Hair in neat, secure ballet bun

TUTU JAZZ & TAP (6-8 years)
Solid Color Leotard
*Pink or Skin Tone tights- tan, mocha, cappuccino
Dance Shorts/Skirts/Leggings Optional
Black Jazz Shoes
Black Tap Shoes
Hair pulled back and secured away from face

BALLET & POINTE (ages 8 and older)
Solid Color or Print Leotard
*Pink Tights
Ballet Skirt
Pink Ballet shoes (canvas or leather)
Hair in neat, secure ballet bun
Tight fitted warmup tops may be worn at the start of class and removed at the end of plies.
No studio style pants allowed.

TAP (ages 8 and older)
Solid Color or Print Leotard
*Skin Tone tights- tan, mocha, cappuccino
Dance Pants/Shorts/Leggings Optional
***Black Oxford Style Lace up Tap Shoes (patent leather tap shoes are not recommended)
Hair pulled back and secured away from face

MODERN (ages 8 and older)
Solid Color or Print Leotard
**Footless or convertible Tights-Pink or Skin Tone
Dance Shorts/Leggings Optional
Shoes -None
Hair pulled back and secured away from face

JAZZ (ages 8 and older)
Solid Color or Print Leotard
Skin Tone Convertible Tights- tan, mocha, cappuccino
Dance Shorts/Skirts/Leggings Optional
Petite Jazz: Black Jazz Shoes
Junior, Senior, Ensemble: Tan Jazz Shoes
Hair pulled back and secured away from face

HIP HOP
T-shirt/Tank Top (any color)
Athletic pants/dance pants or capri's (no denim!)
Designated clean sneakers (free from dirt or rocks) used for class only. Street shoes are not allowed
in studio rooms.
