Aspects of technique will include alignment, which refers to proper placement of the head, shoulders and hips. Correct, positions, lines and angles including turnout and core strength will be reinforced through routine practice.
This class is for students with 3 or more years of training. Students registering for this class should be in middle school or high school. Some exceptions will be made. This class qualifies for pre-pointe students and beginner pointe work.

This is a Jazz based technique class. Jazz uses age appropriate, upbeat music offering numerous styles of classical, musical theatre and contemporary styles of jazz. Students will work on mastering skills such as jumps, turns and leaps along with conditioning and strengthening. The importance of warm-up, isolation's and cool downs will be practiced and understood.
