Adult Tap
This is a 1 hour tap class for ages 18 and up! We typically have dancers as young as their 20s and into their 70s in this one class! You do not need any previous experience to take this class; some have been tapping for years and others are just getting started. This class will allow the option to perform in our annual recital. Most in the class will choose to perform, but it is completely optional! This is a fantastic way to learn tap at your own pace, make new friends, exercise, and have so much fun! Wear anything you're comfortable in and can move easily in.
You may choose to register for this class and pay quarterly tuition ($150 per quarter) OR pay in person each week you attend ($20 cash fee)

This is a 1 hour acro class, following the Acrobatic Arts Primary and Level 1 curriculum. This class is appropriate for dancers age 5-8. If your dancer is in this age range but has never taken Acro 1 before, then our Acro 1B is strongly recommended BEFORE moving into Acro 1A. Our acro classes are taught by a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. Students in our acro program will have the option to take Acrobatic Arts Exams at the end of the dance year (more info. about exams will be provided in the winter). This is a 75 min acro class, following the Acrobatic Arts Level 4, 5, 6, or 7 curriculum. Each dancer will his or her own curriculum card to follow, based on the specific skills that he or she is working on. This class is appropriate for dancers age 10-16. If your dancer has never taken acro before, an evaluation class is required before placing him or her in the correct level. Our acro classes are taught by a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. Students in our acro program will have the option to take Acrobatic Arts Exams at the end of the dance year (more info. about exams will be provided in the winter). This is a 45 min class for dancers who are either in the in their first few years of pointe work or strengthening feet and ankles in preparation for pointe work. There is NO recital dance for this class. This class MUST be taken in combination with a ballet class. ALL pre-pointe / pointe dancers must be taking ballet weekly. Approval from Miss Erin or Miss Jen is required before registering for this class.
Miss Valerie, along with Miss Erin and Miss Jen, will determine when and if each dancer is ready to receive pointe shoes.
DRESS CODE: BLACK LEOTARD, PINK BALLET TIGHTS, PINK SPLIT-SOLE BALLET SHOES (BLOCH ODETTE OR CAPEZIO JULIET ARE STRONGLY PREFERRED). Dancers will need a Thera-band for this class.

Intro to Mini Ballet builds on foundational motor skills while introducing a stronger focus on musicality and creative expression. Students continue to develop coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to move as part of a group. Classes foster confidence and collaboration in an imaginative, nurturing environment that supports each child’s growing love for dance.

This is a 45 min introduction to ballet class for children age to 4-7 years old. This class is ideal for children in a PreK 4 and Kindergarten during the school year. If students are in a PreK 3 class, they should be taking the 9:00 AM Pre-K Ballet class. Students participate in the class without a parent or guardian in the room. It is a creative movement style class, and all ages are welcome to dance together. Caregivers are welcome to participate with their dancer as well.
