You do not need any previous experience to take this class; some have been tapping for years and others are just getting started. This class will allow the option to perform in our annual recital. Most in the class will choose to perform, but it is completely optional! This is a fantastic way to learn tap at your own pace, make new friends, exercise, and have so much fun! Wear anything you're comfortable in and can move easily in.
You may choose to register for this class and pay quarterly tuition ($150 per quarter) OR pay in person each week you attend ($20 cash fee)

Students also focus on building strength, expanding ballet vocabulary, and developing proper classroom etiquette. Emphasis is also placed on flexibility, body alignment, and readiness for more structured ballet training.

Approval from Miss Erin or Miss Jen is required before registering for this class.
Miss Valerie, along with Miss Erin and Miss Jen, will determine when and if each dancer is ready to receive pointe shoes.

If your dancer has never taken acro before, an evaluation class is required before placing him or her in the correct level. Our acro classes are taught by a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. Students in our acro program will have the option to take Acrobatic Arts Exams at the end of the dance year (more info. about exams will be provided in the winter). Students will learn an acrobatic routine to perform in our annual recital.
