8/11 Pop Up Class: Dance Fit w/ Jenebah Giacomelli
Get ready to move, sweat, and strengthen in this energizing 60-minute dance/fitness class designed to boost your endurance, tone your body, and leave you feeling empowered from head to toe.
We kick off with 20 minutes of heart-pumping cardio, using easy-to-follow, rhythm-based dance routines set to upbeat music. These high-energy movements are designed to raise your heart rate, boost circulation, and warm up your entire body—no dance experience needed, just a willingness to move and have fun!
Next, we shift into 20 minutes of bodyweight strength and toning, using the Tabata method—a high-intensity interval format that alternates 20 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest, repeated in short bursts. This approach maximizes muscle engagement, builds stamina, and keeps your metabolism fired up.
We close with a cool-down phase that includes mindful stretching and breathwork, helping your body recover and reset. Leave class feeling grounded, strong, and revitalized!

8/11 Pop Up Class: Belly Dance w/ Jenebah Giacomelli
Step into the dynamic world of Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, a richly layered style that blends traditional belly dance with modern influences like hip hop, flamenco, and contemporary dance. This 90-minute class is designed for movers ages 13 and up and is open to all levels.
Rooted in the foundations of American Tribal Style (ATS), this class honors the communal and improvisational spirit of group dancing. Students will experience a "follow the leader" format—a hallmark of ATS—where a designated leader uses subtle cues to guide the group through synchronized movement in real time. This creates a strong sense of connection, awareness, and collective rhythm.
Class includes a full warm-up, posture work, isolation drills, and traveling steps. We’ll explore signature fusion stylings, slow and serpentine movement, and short choreographic phrases, all while developing strength, grace, and presence. Expect an expressive, empowering, and supportive space where dancers learn to move together as one, while finding their own unique voice.
