Company Auditions (2nd-5th Grade)

Please e-mail info@branchoutdance.com for company tuition rates and season expenses. Please carefully review the document and let us know if you have any questions. It is to be assumed, if the dancer auditions, the student and their family is taking on the time and financial commitment required.
***AUDITION MATERIAL INFO***
The audition will be broken down into sections. The students will learn combinations in ballet and jazz. The dancers will need to be prepared for splits (right, left, center), leaps, pirouettes (single/double), performance quality, showmanship, proper technical alignment and improvisation.
***PREP CLASS/AUDITION INFO***
Prep Class Day 1: Monday, May 18th 4:30PM-6:00PM (Bates Room)
Prep Class Day 2: Tuesday, May 19th 4:30PM-6:00 (Bates Room)
Audition: Thursday, May 21st 5:00PM-6:00PM (Bates Room)
-Attendance to the prep classes is required. Audition material will be learned during those classes.
-For the prep classes and the audition, dancers must wear a solid black leotard, skin-tone tights, ballet shoes, & tan jazz shoes. Hair must be fixed neatly in a ponytail or bun.
-Dancer must register online in the Parent Portal. A $45 prep class/audition fee must be paid upon registering to hold the dancer’s
spot.
(After the audition, the results will be emailed out the following day.)

***SUMMER CLASS COMMITMENT***

Dancers ages 8+ are encouraged to enroll in our 3-Day Summer Intensives as well.

It will also include Frozen theme crafts, games, and move time! Each dancer will need to bring a light lunch or snack and a bottle of water each day to class. The dancers will be given a shirt they will wear on the final day for the parent showing!
