DANCE TEAM TRAINING- Sunday Nights
9 week session
CLASS meets 2/22-5/3
NO class dates- 3/29 or 4/5
If you are dancing (or planning to dance) at the high school level, this class is not optional—it’s essential.
The off-season is where dancers either level up… or fall behind.
That’s why ESTEEM created our High School Dance Team Training Class—a focused, high-intensity training program designed specifically to keep dancers in shape, sharpen their skills, and prepare them to walk into spring auditions confident, powerful, and ready.
Here’s what makes this class different:
- We’ve met directly with local high school dance team coaches
- We know exactly what they want dancers working on
- This class is built to train what matters most at auditions
Class Focus Includes:
- Jazz & performance quality
- Kick line technique & precision
- Strength, conditioning, and stamina
- Leaps, turns, and across-the-floor progressions
- Clean technique, control, and consistency
- Training dancers to perform under pressure
The FIRST class is a GOAL-SETTING session.
Each dancer will:
- Set clear, measurable goals for audition season
- Get individualized guidance from instructors and assistants
- Train with intention—not guesswork
- Build a plan to reach their personal and team goals
This is about staying in shape during the off-season, preventing skill loss, and gaining an edge over dancers who wait until tryouts to train.
If your dancer wants to:
- Make the team
- Move up in rank
- Improve placement, power, and confidence
- Be noticed for the right reasons
👉 This class is a must.
Spots are limited to keep training intentional and effective.
Secure your dancer’s place and give them the preparation they deserve.
Let’s train smart.
Let’s train with purpose.
Let’s get them ready.

This program will bring together passionate, driven dancers from across the state who are ready to challenge themselves and be part of something truly special.
AUDITIONS
📅 June 24 & 25
⏰ 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
👯♀️ Open to dancers entering 4th grade and older
Audition results will be emailed by July 1, letting dancers know whether they have been selected and which teams they have been placed on.
Selected dancers will have the opportunity to compete in multiple styles including:
• Hip-Hop
• Jazz
• Pom

Teams will be formed based on audition results, and not all dancers will make every team. Each dancer will be placed where they can grow, contribute, and perform at their strongest level.

Our goal is to build one of the premier All-Star programs in the Midwest, setting a new standard for training, performance quality, and competitive excellence.
This is a travel competitive program, with teams competing locally, regionally, and nationally against some of the strongest All-Star teams in the country.
One of the most exciting events of the season will take place March 19–21 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Grand Ole Opry, where our teams will compete in hopes of earning a bid to the All-Star World Championship.
Teams that qualify will advance to the World Championship Finals held April 14–18, 2027in Orlando, Florida — one of the most prestigious stages in the All-Star dance world.
Beyond the stage, Minnesota All-Stars will focus on developing well-rounded dancers and athletes. Dancers will train in technique, performance, strength, and teamwork while building the discipline and confidence that comes from being part of an elite team environment.
We are looking for dancers who are:
• Passionate about dance
• Hard-working and dedicated
• Positive teammates
• Coachable and eager to grow
Our mission is to create a program where dancers are pushed, supported, and inspired to become the best version of themselves both on and off the stage.
If your dancer is looking for a program that is challenging, exciting, and built for competitive excellence, we encourage them to step forward and audition.
This is just the beginning.
Minnesota All-Stars is coming — and we can’t wait to see the talent that steps onto the floor.
More details about training schedules on exact days and times will come out with your team placement email. Competition dates will be updated as the Competition companies update their dates for the 2027 season.
Let’s build something incredible together.

Competition Clinic & Audition | Ages 6-7
Our Competition Clinics & Auditions are designed for young dancers ages 6-7 who are excited about the possibility of joining our Esteem Competitive Dance Team Program! These clinics are a fun, supportive introduction to the world of competition dance and a great way to see what being part of Team ESTEEM is all about.
During the clinics, dancers will learn audition combinations, build foundational technique, and explore a variety of dance styles — all while having so much fun! Our summer competition classes give both dancers and parents a true feel for the energy, teamwork, and commitment that come with competitive dance at Esteem.
These clinics also allow our instructors to really get to know your dancer — not just as a performer, but as a person. We believe our strongest teams are made up of like-minded dancers who are eager to grow, work hard, support one another, and still have a blast along the way!
Please do your best to attend all clinic dates. We understand summer includes vacations and family time — if your dancer needs to miss a clinic, just let us know.

WHAT THE SEASON LOOKS LIKE:
Dual Team Training Program
(High School Dance Team + Dance Esteem Company)
This program is designed specifically for dedicated dancers who are committed to representing their high school dance team while also continuing their growth as a member of a Dance Esteem Company team.
We understand the demands of high school dance team season — and we have intentionally structured this program to support dancers who want to do both at a high level.
September and October (Pre–Dance Team Season)
Teams will meet once per week to begin training, conditioning, and choreography preparation.
October 26th – February 20th (High School Dance Team Season)
Once the official dance team season begins, practices will shift to a reduced schedule of 1–2 Sundays per month. This structure allows dancers to stay connected, continue progressing, and maintain technique without overwhelming their in-season commitments.
Post–February 20th (After Dance Team Season Concludes)
Once high school season wraps, teams will return to their weekly scheduled practices as we fully transition back into company training and performance focus.
This is for driven dancers who are ready to manage their time, stay disciplined, and continue elevating their training year-round. Being part of both programs requires commitment, maturity, and strong work ethic — and this structure is built to help dancers thrive in both arenas.
If you are serious about staying sharp, staying connected, and continuing to grow while representing your school, this program is for you.

Competition Clinic & Audition | Ages 8-10
Our Competition Clinics & Auditions are designed for young dancers ages 8-10 who are excited about the possibility of joining our Esteem Competitive Dance Team Program!

STRENGTH AND BREAKING- MALES ONLY
3 Week Session
Strength & Breaking for Dancers (Ages 9–13)
This class is designed to help dancers build the foundational strength needed to safely progress in skills, tricks, and floorwork commonly used in today’s choreography. Dancers will focus on proper strength-based movements that support control, stability, balance, and body awareness — all essential for working toward advanced breaking elements such as freezes, transitions, and introductory power skills.
Through age-appropriate conditioning and technique progressions, dancers will develop upper body, core, and lower body strength while learning how to correctly engage muscles to prevent injury and improve overall performance quality on the dance floor.
This class is a great supplement for dancers looking to:
• Improve strength for floorwork and transitions
• Gain control in acro-style and breaking skills
• Increase stability in turns, jumps, and level changes
• Build the strength needed to confidently execute skills on the dance floor — not just on the mat
Perfect for dancers who are ready to level up their strength in a safe, structured environment while working toward the dynamic movements seen in hip hop and contemporary choreography.
