Ballet Intensive with Ms. Laura
Elevate your technique and artistry this summer with our Ballet Intensive at Stagelights. Designed for dancers of multiple ages and experience levels, this comprehensive program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00–6:00 PM and offers focused, high-quality training in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Throughout the intensive, students will train across a wide spectrum of classical ballet disciplines, including:
Ballet Technique (Barre & Center Work) – building strength, alignment, and precision
Pre-Pointe & Pointe Training – proper progression, strengthening, and safe pointe work (for eligible dancers)
Turns & Pirouette Technique – spotting, control, and execution
Leaps & Jumps (Allegro) – elevation, timing, and coordination
Flexibility & Conditioning – improving range of motion, core strength, and injury prevention
Ballet Vocabulary & Terminology – understanding the language of ballet
Artistry & Expression – musicality, performance quality, and storytelling
Across-the-Floor Combinations – integrating technique into movement
Choreography & Variations – learning classical and contemporary ballet pieces
Partnering Basics (when appropriate) – introductory coordination and spatial awareness

Movie Makers Camp
August 3–13, 2026

Calling all future actors, directors, writers, and filmmakers! Join us for an exciting two-week performing arts experience where students will work together to create their very own movie from start to finish.
Throughout the camp, participants will collaborate as a production team to develop a storyline, create characters, write scenes, rehearse, act, and film their original movie. Along the way, students will explore the creative process behind filmmaking while building confidence, teamwork, acting skills, and imagination.
From the first brainstorming session to the final "That's a wrap!" moment, campers will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life and see themselves on the big screen.

4.Broadway Bound Mean Girls Theme Full Day Camp (Age 10-18)
7/6-7/10 9-3:30pm.
A week of singing, dancing and acting to songs and scenes from the hit musical Mean Girls! This will be such a fun camp for girls and boys to hone their musical theater skills by learning vocal techniques, choreography and character work. There will be a showcase at the end of the week to show their Mean Girls Medley!

5.Camp Rock The Musical Full Day 3 Weeks (Age 10-16)
Our 3 week most popular musical of the year at Stagelights. This year our Summer Mainstage musical will be Camp Rock! Rehearsal will be held at Stagelights PAC from 7/13-7/31. We will move to Gaither High School for the Dress Rehearsal Saturday August 1st and Show Day that will take place on Sunday August 2nd with two afternoon performances.
Auditions will be the first day of camp with callbacks the same day. Our show will be cast Tuesday, July 14 and the kids will begin their rehearsal practice! All who register will be a part of the show. Auditions are for casting purposes only.
Camp Rock is an upbeat, music-filled story about finding your voice, believing in yourself, and discovering true friendship.
CAMP ROCK SYNOPSES:
The story centers on Mitchie Torres, a talented but shy teen who dreams of becoming a singer. When she gets the chance to attend the prestigious summer music program, Camp Rock, she feels out of place among the more experienced performers. Wanting to fit in, Mitchie pretends to be someone she’s not—only to learn that honesty and authenticity matter more than popularity.
Meanwhile, teen pop star Shane Gray, a member of the hit band Jonas Brothers, comes to Camp Rock to rediscover his passion for music. After hearing Mitchie sing, he becomes determined to find the mysterious girl with the incredible voice.
Through rehearsals, rivalries, and show-stopping musical numbers, Mitchie gains confidence, embraces her true self, and learns that real success comes from staying true to who you are. The story builds to a high-energy final showcase where friendships are strengthened, talents shine, and dreams take center stage.

7.The Voice Half Day Camp (Age 5-9)

This camp will focus on learning vocal technique.
. We will spend time learning how to act songs, how to add style, making a song your own and how to feel confident on stage. We will also spend time in our vocal studio and have each camper record the song they brought with them to camp. (Criteria) - Students must choose (1) songs for themselves to bring to camp. Throughout the camp, dancers will explore exciting styles, learn dynamic choreography, and train with purpose—developing the skills and performance quality needed to stand out at auditions. If you're looking to level up, challenge yourself, and get audition-ready while having an amazing time, Dance Bootcamp is the place to be.

This high-energy camp is designed for performers who love to move and want to strengthen their dance technique while learning dynamic, Broadway-style combinations. Throughout the week, campers will explore jazz, musical theater, and character-driven choreography while building coordination, stage presence, and performance quality. Participants will learn how storytelling connects to movement, practice ensemble precision, and gain confidence picking up choreography quickly. The week culminates in an exciting showcase where dancers perform the combinations they’ve mastered, celebrating their growth, teamwork, and passion for musical theater.
