This class introduces dancers to the fundamentals of pointe work in a safe and structured environment. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment, foot strength, and technique preparation. Students start with strength and pre-pointe work, before going on pointe. Dancers must be aged 11+, and be approved by teachers to begin pointe training. Dancers aged 10 may participate if they receive approval from their doctor.
