Creative Movement for Children is an fun introduction to modern and contemporary dance forms through movement improvisation. Children will be introduced to basic dance positions and vocabulary through structured dance improvisation games that encourage individual expression, rhythmic understanding, artistry through music, and group (ensemble) cooperation. Open to boys & girls. No shoes required.
Class is taught Monday OR Tuesday (1x per week)

Beg/Inter Dance Technique (Ballet & Contemporary)

Beginning/Intermediate Dance Technique is a fun continuation of study of ballet and contemporary dance forms. Dancers will continue to work and hone body placement and positions, expand their vocabulary through more challenging movement exercises and combination work. This class will emphasize correct technique, musicality, and expression through choreography and improvisation exercises in a positive, supportive environment. Open to boys & girls. Ballet shoes required.
Taught Tuesday AND Thursday (2x per week)
