Combo Ballet/Tap
This class is a combo class for tiny dancers who love ballet and tap. The first part of the class will be ballet. Dancers will learn basic ballet position center then move across the floor learning movement steps to increase coordination, balance, and strength. The use of props will be incorporated to allow the dancer to explore their imagination. Tap will be introduced during the middle of the class. Dancers will change their shoes and circle-up in the middle of the floor to learn introductory tap steps. This will allow the dancer to work on timing and coordination. This is a fun-filled class that is geared to the beginning of dance.
Dress code is black or pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and black tap shoes. Ballet skirts are permitted. Hair must be pulled back away from the face and secured in a ponytail, braid or bun.

Dancers will then transition to the center working on stretching, foot work, flexibility and strength exercises to enhance the dancers legs and feet. And last, the dancers will travel across the floor learning balance exercises, and beginning ballet moves. Ballet terminology will be introduced along with props to enhance the dancers imagination.
Dancers are required to wear black or pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Ballet skirts are permitted. Hair must be in ponytail or bun.

Dancers will learn the fundamentals of tap while having fun! Combinations will be learned and rhythm steps will allow the dancer to expand their creativeness. Dancers can wear a black or pink leotard, pink or black tights, or black leggings. Black tap shoes are required.

This exciting combo class will cover both jazz and hip-hop genres. It will be based for the dancer who has had either no dance experience or one year of training. The first portion of the class will consist of jazz warm-up in a circle followed by movement across the floor. Basic and fun-filled exercises will allow the dancer to explore movement. Props may be used to enhance the imagination. The second part of the class will be an energetic fun-filled hip-hop class. The class is to help create movement to fun and exciting age appropriate music. Disco lights will be used for entertainment and exploring. Dancers can wear form-fitting clothes such as a leotard with biker shorts or leggings. Hair must be pulled back away from the face. Tan jazz gore shoes are required for jazz, and clean tennis shoes are allowed for the hip hop portion.

This fun and upbeat class will enable the dancer to move freely and explore the movement of the body with fun music. Stretching, strength exercises, and building muscle while doing exercises and tricks on the mat will help to enhance the students training. Splits, stretches to lengthen the muscles and exercises to build muscle development will be done in every class. Tricks down the mat will be introduced such as rolls, cartwheels, back bends, handstands, and several others will help to improve and build a strong acro foundation. Required dress code is form fitting clothes, such as a leotard, biker shorts or leggings. Athletic wear only. Street clothes are not permitted. Bare foot is required. Hair must be secured and pulled back away from the face in a tight ponytail, braid or bun.

Loose clothing can be worn such as t-shirts, leggings, sweat pants, or athletic clothing. Hair must be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail. Clean tennis shoes are required and not allowed to be worn outside once dancing on the marley floor.

Contemporary 2/3 is a class to allow dancers to explore movement at a slower pace with a more theatrical base. It is a combination of ballet skills, movement quality and timing. Contemporary is suggested to be taken along with a ballet class to enhance the training and build a strong foundation from early on. Dancers are required to wear dance clothes that are form fitting such as a leotard, sports bra, or tank top. Biker shorts or leggings are required. Athletic wear is allowed but street clothing is not permitted. Bare foot is required along with hair securely pulled back away from the face in either a ponytail, braid, or bun.
