Camp will focus on advanced technique and choreography in Ballet,
Improv, Tap/Jazz, Contemporary and Lyrical.
Two genres per day.

Technique for Competition (Week Camp) July 21-25
Camp will focus on Turns, Leaps and Conditioning for the competitive dancer or students wanting to improve their dance technique.
Students should wear a leotard and wear lyrical or jazz shoes.

Advanced Gymnastics Levels 3-5 (Week Camp) July 21-25
Students should have skills acquired from beginner and intermediate gymnastics.
Class will focus on improving skills on the floor, beam and uneven bars per the student's level.
Attire- leotard of their choice. Students are not allowed to wear street clothes/jewelry.
Bring a water bottle.

Back Handspring (Week Camp) July 28- August 1st
Student should have acquired beginner and intermediate gymnastics skills.
Students should be able to do a back walkover.
Learn drills/conditioning exercises to acquire a back handspring.

Hip-Hop (Week Camp) July 14-18
Hip-Hop is a fun high energy class while exposing the students to a variety of Hip-hop styles. The movements and exercises will develop greater body awareness, flexibility, strength & control as well as musicality.

Advanced Acro (Week Camp) July 21-25
Camp will work on the syllabus from Acrobatic Arts level's 6 through level 8.. Students will learn choreography that combines acro tricks, stunts and dance.

Aeriel (Week Camp) July 28-August 1st
Students will acquire skills and proper technique in executing an aeriel.
Students should have a strong cartwheel and roundoff with proper technique for enrollment in the camp.
Students should wear leotard and bring a bottle of water.

Cirque/Contortion (week Camp) June 16-20
Increase flexibility, learn skills on handstand canes and parallettes.
Learn beginner skills on Ariel ring including balancing, postures, spinning, strength and endurance.

Intermediate Jazz/Lyrical (Week Camp) July 14-18
Students will explore different jazz styles and work on more intermediate jazz moves including leaps and turns through center work, across the floor combinations and choreography.
Lyrical emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story with dance using a combination of contemporary and ballet dance foundation.
Students should wear comfortable dance attire (leotard shorts), lyrical shoes or bare feet.
Students should bring a water bottle.

Intermediate Gymnastics (Week Camp) June 9-13
Intermediate skills on floor, beam and uneven bars. Class will consist of light cardio and focus on balancing, flexibility, strength, drills and tumbling. Students should have beginner fundamental skills acquired from beginner gymnastics.
Attire-leotard and hair pulled up. No jewelry.
Bring bottled water.

Theatrical dance is a performance that can combine songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dancing.
Music plays a major role in telling a story.

Intermediate skills in stretching/flexibility techniques, acro tricks, stunts and dance choreography
Students should have beginner acro skills acquired from beginner acro or beginner gymnastics and or placed in class.

Pom Dance (Week Camp) July 14-18
Pom dance is a fast-paced dance incorporating the genres jazz and hip hop.
It focuses on arm movements, jumps, kicks using pom poms with sharp movements and rhythm to be in in sync.
Trial camp for a potential competitive class.
