This session is mandatory for competition dancers.

Little Dance Cirque
Class will work on increasing flexibility with stretches and drills. This is a fun class to introduce beginner poses on the mats, blocks, silks, juggling, hula hooping and much more.
Class will have progress cards and levels per advancement.
Students should wear a leotard of their choice or tank/tee shirt and shorts.
You will have a costume fee in the spring due to class instructors for the end of the season recital.

Beginner Tap/Jazz
Learn beginner skills in tap/jazz and choreography.
Students should have tap/jazz shoes to wear and wear comfortable dance clothes preferably a leotard and skirt no loose-fitting clothes.

Students should bring a water bottle.

Pre-Professional Acro
Class will work on the syllabus from Acrobatic Arts level's 8 through Pre-Professional 3. Students will learn choreography that combines acro tricks, stunts and dance.
This class will participate in the end of the season recital and require a dance costume. Costume fees will be due at the end of October.
Students are required to wear a black leotard of their choice.

Dance Cirque (Contortion/Aerial Ring)
Class will work on increasing flexibility with stretches and drills. Practice contortion poses on the mats, blocks, parallettes, aerial ring, silks, handstand canes and more.
Class will have a routine to be performed at the end of the season recital and a costume due at a later date.
Students are required to wear a black leotard of their choice.

This class will attend 2 competition this season and Nationals in the summer. More information will be available at a later date.

Main
Competition for Beginner/Intermediate levels
The primary objectives will be beginner/intermediate dance choreography and technique, acro skills, flexibility, and stage performance.
Attire: Leotard and/or tight shirt and bottoms. No shoes, no loose clothing, no jewelry. Hair should be secured and bring water bottle.
This class will attend one to two regional competitions and possibly be invited to a nationals dance competition. More information will be available at a later date.
Students are required to take an acro class and the technique for competition.

Pre-Ballet
Class will give your preschooler basic instruction for beginner ballet steps and positions. Focusing on enhancing their motor skills and coordination. Class consist of fun exercises, story telling with movement and free dancing with various props.
Attire-Pink or black leotard. Ballet shoes( preferably with out strings). Hair in bun.
Bring a water bottle.

Ballet l
Ballet will focus on the fundamentals of classical ballet in a fun environment. Students will work on proper body alignment, conditioning the body, leg and core strength and flexibility, all while having fun!
Attire-Pink or black leotard. Ballet shoes or barefoot. Hair in bun. Bring a water bottle.
Students will participate in the recital and have a costume fee. More information on this at a later date.

Ballet ll
Students will work on Ballet skills in level ll focusing on technique, alignment and flexibility and learn a short, choreographed number.
Students should wear a leotard and ballet shoes and ballet leotatd and skirt..

Students will participate in the end of the season recital and have a costume fee.

Intermediate/Advanced Tap
Class will focus on learning basic steps, combinations, across the floor exercises that teach dynamics and choreography using the sounds/rhythm that are made when tap dancing.
Class will focus on intermediate/advanced skills.
Students are required to have tap shoes and bring a bottle of water.
Students will have a costume fee and participate in the spring recital. More information on this will be available at a later date.

Advanced Ballet/Multi Dance Genres
Class will focus half Ballet and half different genres throughout the season.
Advance Ballet will focus on alignment, turnouts, correct body placement, bar exercises and ballet conditioning exercises. Focus on terms and technique.
Advanced technique and choreography per genre for
Improv, Jazz, Contemporary, Character and Lyrical.
Attire black leotard or black shirt, black shorts, pants and jazz, lyrical, character dance shoes.
Students will perform three dances in the recital from this class and will have a 3-costume fees.

Pre-Gymnastics
Class will focus on increasing fine motor and social skills, strength and coordination. Class will use beginner gymnastics equipment and obstacle courses that emphasize climbing, jumping, running and tumbling in a fun environment.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe
Pre-pointe is the preparatory training before pointe training.
Class will focus on building the strength, flexibility and technique in feet and ankles to safety dance on pointe.
Focus will be on core strength, turnout, alignment, and foot articulation required for pointe work.
Pre-pointe students will need ballet shoes. Pointe students will need pointe shoes.

Students should have skills acquired from beginner and intermediate gymnastics.
Class will focus on improving skills on the floor, beam and uneven bars per the student's level 4-6.

Beginner/Intermediate Lyrical/Jazz
Students will explore different jazz styles and work on more beginner/ intermediate jazz moves including leaps and turns through center work, across the floor combinations and choreography.
Lyrical emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story with dance using a combination of contemporary and ballet dance foundation.
Students should wear comfortable dance attire (leotard shorts), lyrical shoes or bare feet.
This class will be in the recital and will have a costume fee.
Students should bring a water bottle.

Pom Dance
Pom dance is a fast-paced dance incorporating the genres jazz and hip hop.
It focuses on arm movements, jumps, kicks using pom poms with sharp movements and rhythm to be in in sync.
Class is potential for 1 competition and there will be a costume fee. Instructor will provide more information at a later date.
