Fairytale Ballet - A Midsummer Night's Dream - Ages 6-8
Everyone like a good joke, and nobody jokes like Puck, the servant of the Fairy King Oberon. At his king's behest, Puck creates magical mayhem among fairies and mortals alike using a flower that has the power to cause love at first sight. Shakespeare's renowned comedy about human folly and mistaken identity is perfectly complemented by the whimsical score by Felix Mendelssohn. Students in this workshop will explore this story of hilarious hijinks while also learning about the importance of using our own "magic" only for good.

*minimum enrollment of 3 students needed for class to proceed*

Each day consists of age-appropriate dance instruction, a themed craft, a healthy snack, and story time. The workshop will culminate in a mini-performance for family.

What to wear: anything that allows for full freedom of movement! Leotard and tights, tank top and shorts, T-shirt and leggings, etc. Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail or bun. Ballet shoes are required but pre-owned shoes can be borrowed from the studio.

What to bring: water-bottle
