Pay for 1 Day: Monday.Thanksgiving Arts and Activities Camp
This one day, a la carte camp is all about having a fun-filled, activity filled day of entertainment and creative learning for your child(ren). Our studio is a terrific place for school break campers to try out dance, tumbling, musical theater, and art while making new friends, as well. This multi-age camp is open to beginners-students with prior training. It is a great opportunity for siblings or best buddies to have one place where they can explore their favorite arts and activities, while offering families a convenient plan when schools are out.
Campers need to wear comfortable clothes that they can dance and tumble in, and bring weather appropriate shoes, coats, hats, etc as needed for outside play.
They will also need to bring a nut-free snack and lunch and a water bottle from home labeled with their name.

Camp Description:
The Prodigy Dance Intensive camp is designed to catapult a dancer's training and overall knowledge base. This camp allows instructors to evaluate dancer technique and help fill in any gaps for a deeper understanding of proper placement and muscle control. The camp week will include multiple workshops in different genres that will delve into the history, icons that have pushed the envelope in artistry and skill, and will allow a dancer to try out each style. Professional guest instructors will inspire in their classes and short pieces of choreography in the the areas of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, and Acrobatics. Over the course of the week each dancer will train, stretch, build strength, develop performance skills and will finish the week with a parent performance, deeper appreciation for dance education, and a sense of accomplishment. The goal is to inspire and encourage dancer to reach for new heights in their abilities and goals. But also to have discovered new things about themselves and where their own greatest strengths lie. This camp is for students with prior experience that already love to dance and are excited to grow their skills and friendships with their peers that share the same passion.
All students will be evaluated to match them for a camp group. Younger dancers or those with less prior training maybe be placed in the Dance Immersion camp which will include the same styles and instructors but with the goal of exposure and appropriate class level.
Required Dress Code:
Girls: Black Leotard with pink or tan convertible or footless tights. Black Jazz shorts or ballet skirts are optional.
Pink split sole ballet shoes, tan slip on Jazz shoes. Tap shoes are required for tap class. Those without tap shoes will be assigned to an alternative workshop during that class time. Sneakers are recommended for Hip Hop.
Hair must be secured for each camp day.
Boys:
White T-shirt ir tank top with black athletic shorts or black dance pants.

This class helps to develop coordination and rhythm skills. Following directions and learning beginning level choreography will be a fulfilling experience for your confident and creative child.

An offsite Recital will be available for students in this class to be held at the conclusion of the school year. There will be a fee for a package including recital costume, tights, souvenir T-shirt, engraved award to receive onstage during the show, and a video of the performance. This class teaches tumbling and beginning acrobatics skills in a fun and positive learning atmosphere, where fun and fitness combine. Parents can feel good about choosing a Prodigy Performing Arts class that helps their child learn self-discipline, listening skills, how to follow directions step by step, and how to cooperate with classmates, too, all while building self-esteem and skills to be proud of.
Tuition is a total amount divided into 9 equal monthly payments (Sept-May). Monthly tuition is drafted via AutoPay on the 1st of each month beginning in October. The first monthly tuition payment ($64) is due with a manual payment upon registration. School breaks have been accounted for in the total amount. There are no months that are prorated. No refunds, credit, or make up classes are available for classes not attended by the student. All other company policies apply.

Dance Stars: Jazz and Hip Hop Dance Club
This dynamic group will meet on Fridays to enjoy dance classes that introduce students to the exciting world of Hip Hop and Jazz dance styles. Our program is designed to teach essential dance techniques and terminology, providing a solid foundation for dance appreciation and training. Dance Stars will offer a fun and energetic way for kids to burn off extra energy after school while enjoying creating and dancing together with friends.
Some club highlights include:
- **Fun Music and Moves:** Kids will love dancing to popular Pop and Hip Hop tracks.
- **Comprehensive Training:** Each class includes warm-ups, stretching, basic exercises, and learning new steps and combinations across the floor. As well as movement games, and chances to create choreography, "partner tricks", and a chance to freestyle.
- **Performance Opportunity:** Students will prepare a routine to showcase at an in-school performance at the end of the semester. More info to follow in the Fall.
Club members will all receive a free T-shirt.
Attire: Students should wear comfortable clothes suitable for movement and exercise, along with sneakers. Jeans are not recommended. Longer hair will need to be secured into a ponytail or braids. No jewelry should be worn with the exception of stud earrings. Don't forget your water bottle.
