Mat Pilates with Miss Grace is designed for beginner to intermediate teen and adult students looking to build strength, flexibility, and body awareness through intentional movement. Each class begins with a gentle warmup before transitioning into a full-body workout featuring slow, controlled movements carefully cued and demonstrated by Miss Grace. Class concludes with a cool down to help students stretch, reset, and leave feeling refreshed and energized.

Combinations will be learned at the barre, center, and across the floor. Emphasis is placed on learning anatomy and the origination of movements in order to dance safely and effectively. She is from Toledo, OH, where she grew up training in classical ballet under Nigel Burgoine and was part of the state-champion Southview Cougarettes dance team. During college, she was part of a performing contemporary group at Miami University, where she choreographed pieces, taught classes, and attended the American College Dance Association each year. Since graduating with a Psychology major and Dance minor, Sally has discovered a love for teaching all ages at various studios around northwest Ohio. While holding a deep appreciation for the discipline of ballet, she enjoys contrasting it with the freedom in contemporary movement. While not dancing, you can find Sally living part time in Hawai’i, where she enjoys working on a whale watching boat and dancing hula with her church.
