For returning students who have already completed 1 year of Tap/Ballet/Tumbling. This is a 45 minute tap, ballet, & tumbling class offered in a structured setting. Dancers will learn introductory, basic steps and skills in each genre of dance and use props to encourage participation. The class begins with a fundamental structured disciplined environment. Students start in tap shoes where young students develop good musicality, timing and rhythm. After 15-20 minutes students will change shoes. Proper ballet terminology is emphasized from a young age. Special attention is given to the physical, emotional and mental developmental needs of our youngest students. In young children the muscles and bones are delicate therefore our focus is to teach an understanding of how the body works physically.
