Warriors Intensive 26/27 company interested
Warriors Intensive | 2026–2027 Season

The Warriors Intensive is designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers who are interested in joining one of Namari Dance Center’s competition teams for the 2026–2027 season.

Dancers will participate in a full week of training, taking a series of classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, and contemporary. Throughout the week, dancers will also learn combinations that will be evaluated as part of the placement process.

Dancers who choose to audition will perform these combinations in front of Artistic Director Mr. Antwan Sessions and Associate Artistic Director Mr. Shervoski Moreland for team placement consideration.

Participation in the Warriors Intensive is required for dancers who wish to be considered for one of Namari’s performing companies.

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This intensive provides dancers with the opportunity to train, grow, and experience the expectations of a competitive program in a supportive and challenging environment.

Ballet training focuses on advanced technique, artistry, musicality, multiple pirouettes, advanced jumps, extensions, and pointe work for eligible dancers. The DNC Conservatory is DanceMakers Namari Collective's premier pre-professional training division, designed for highly motivated dancers who demonstrate exceptional technical ability, artistic potential, and a commitment to serious dance training. Admission into the Conservatory is by audition only and is intended for dancers who are ready to pursue an intensive and comprehensive training experience.

Conservatory dancers receive advanced instruction in Ballet, Pointe (when applicable), Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, and specialized technical development. The curriculum is carefully designed to cultivate well-rounded, versatile artists while preparing dancers for collegiate dance programs, conservatories, professional companies, and careers in the performing arts.

Ballet serves as the foundation of the Conservatory experience, emphasizing proper alignment, strength, flexibility, musicality, artistry, and technical excellence. Pointe training is available to dancers who demonstrate the physical readiness and technical proficiency required for advancement. Jazz classes focus on versatility, performance quality, precision, and dynamic movement. Modern and Contemporary classes encourage artistic exploration, creative expression, movement innovation, and storytelling through dance.
