Creative Movement is a 30-minute rhythm and coordination class designed for boys and girls ages 3-5 to learn beginning ballet concepts. While exploring personal creativity, dancers will incorporate motor development, music, and basic skills needed for future classroom experiences.

Music Dance & Fitness
A parent-child class to inspire natural rhythm & movement. Many times, this class is the first experience in a learning environment for children. Pre-Dance and Pre-School concepts will be taught along with some fun, light fitness to be enjoyed by both parent & child. This class is also a great opportunity to make new friends.
*The goal is for dancers to transition to Creative Movement around age 3.
*A minimum of 8 pairs (of parent-child) are required to register for this class to hold.

Enroll first in the core class, then add the additional elective classes. Students should be ready to focus to learn and retain the choreography quickly.
Dress code: JCMDS Sequin & Stars tank, black spandex shorts & studio purchased glitter hip hop boots worn only in hip hop class (not to be worn outside). $45.00 Glitter Hip Hop Boots. Dancers complete Beginner level before entering intermediate levels. Instructors can adjust levels after evaluation.

Focus on strength/flexibility and progressions through acro dance skill families. Through strength training and positive coaching, dancers study targeted skills that allows them to later learn advanced tumbling and acrobatic stunts for performance choreography.
Dancers will wear Black JCMDS leotard or Ruby Red Leotard, black spandex shorts, tan transition tights.
Bring Freeform Lyrical shoes or split soled ballet shoes. Clean on the bottom tennis shoes for conditioning.
**Skill requirements: Controlled Cartwheel, Complete Teddy bear head stand, Bridge from standing, Hip roll up, beginning Hand stands. Charzlie is also available for Private lessons.

This elective class is for selected dedicated Advance Pointe dancers. First enroll3d in a core class & Classical Pointe.
The class will focus on all things en pointe. There will be outside dance work required in this class. Students in this class must also bring with them each week: A notebook, a pen or pencil, a TheraBand (medium resistance) or a 3 pack of TheraBands and a golf ball.
STRICT DRESS CODE: JCMDS Pointe Leotard or Ruby Red leotard, black ballet skirt or spandex shorts, Split soled ballet shoes Freeform Lyrical shoes & pointe shoes.
