To dance en pointe you must be approved by the teacher. If you are not yet ready to dance en pointe you can join in all the exercises on Demi pointe or flats. This class is for advanced, skilled ballet dancers who have been approved by our ballet teacher. It is recommended that you attend at least 2 other ballet classes per week.

Senior Technique and Conditioning
This class is designed to strengthen the body and improve flexibility all whilst supporting safe dance practice. Students will work on core strength, controlled stretching, alignment, enhancing turnout, balance stability, extensions etc. Students are required to wear fitted clothing for this class, an example of this being; leotard and tights. Class essentials you may want to think about bringing to each class; water bottle, sweat towel, Theraband (medium-heavy), wobble cushion, notebook and pen and light ankle weights (no more than 2kg). Students must be ready to dedicate themselves to hard work and be consistent with this class to see improvement.

The Musical Theatre Dance class will concentrate on Acting through Song and Dance, helping students grow as well-rounded performers while building confidence, technique, and expressive storytelling. As part of this class, you will also work towards individual Musical Theatre medals with the IDTA, allowing you to celebrate your personal progress and achievements.
