Dancers will explore the traditional framework of ballet and jazz from a new perspective. Each class includes a warm-up, technique, and a combination. The class emphasis will be on developing efficient alignment, increasing strength and flexibility, broadening the range of movement qualities, exploring new vocabularies and phrasing styles, and encouraging individual investigation and embodiment of movement material. Class tuition includes a $50 Nutcracker Performance Fee, which helps cover overall production costs, show week rehearsals at the Center, and costume rentals for each student.

This class will bring all members of the company together once a week to work on technique for various dance styles and to prepare a dance that will be performed in two competitions and the Nutcracker. This class has has a special reduced tuition (paying for 75 minutes instead of 90). Class tuition includes a $50 Nutcracker Performance Fee, which helps cover overall production costs, show week rehearsals at the Center, and costume rentals for each student. Every joint is in its full range of motion. Requiring an equal amount of eccentric and concentric work, giving the length and the stretch your body yearns for.
