The fairytale dance class provides a unique and fun introduction to the world of dance. We emphasize an encouraging learning experience that builds self-esteem and confidence. Each class has a lesson plan and is structured to develop proper dance technique with ballet as the base. Clogging
Clogging originated in the Appalachian Mountains as a mountain folk dance. The roots of this quick step dance come from Irish step dancing (as seen in River Dance) and Holland’s wooden shoe dance. Traditionally, Clogger’s maintained a stiff upper body and danced to bluegrass music. As contemporary clogging emerges, other forms of dance are being incorporated and a variety of music is used. Ms Anne teaches this class and is a master clogger. Dancer can start with tap shoes and she will help you get clogging shoes.
