Fairytale ballet is an enchanting introduction to ballet and jazz technique in a fun and creative environment using story time, props, and dress up costumes (provided by the studio) to make each class a magical experience. The focus is on having fun with your child and introducing them to a positive introduction to dance. No experience is necessary. Pink tieless ballet shoes recommended. Students can wear any type of comfortable clothing, but many girls enjoy wearing little leotards and skirts (any color and style). 45 minutes. Parent participation required.

Include music in your family's summer plans by signing up for our Saturday summer classes, featuring a collection of favorite Music Together tunes. Enjoy classic originals like ''Ridin' in the Car'' and more traditional songs, like our versions of the American bluegrass ''Crawdad'' and ''Ma' Teodora'' widely considered to be one of the oldest Cuban folk songs. Each week your family will enjoy activities especially created for young children, led by a Registered Teacher who inspires everyone to join in the fun. In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials for you to use at home, online access to the songs through the Music Together app, and a family newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas. Let's come together to learn and play musically!

Group Guitar Lessons
This Guitar Class is open to students of all levels. It is designed for young students to learn guitar in a collaborative and encouraging environment. They will receive one-on-one instruction, so that they may progress at their own pace, while also learning from their peers as they grow and learn together!
Required materials for this class include an acoustic guitar, a copy of Alfred’s Teach Yourself to Play Guitar book, and a collapsible music stand. Non-required, but encouraged materials include a clip-on guitar tuner, multiple guitar picks, and a guitar capo. A brief recital will take place at Steppin’ Out Performing Arts Studio on Friday April 4 at 6:40pm.

Snacks are provided, but each camper will need to bring a labeled water bottle and lunch.

Disney's The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world, and now we are bringing the African savanna to SOPA! Join Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.
