Pointe Prep Disclaimer

Enrollment in Pointe Prep does not guarantee or imply promotion to dancing en pointe. Pointe readiness is determined individually and depends on many factors, including strength, technique, alignment, maturity, and overall physical development. All dancers are built differently and progress at different rates.

Some dancers may take Pointe Prep for multiple seasons before being ready for pointe work, and some dancers may never go en pointe—and that is completely okay. Pointe is not a requirement for success or growth as a dancer.

Pointe Prep is a preparatory and strengthening class only. Its purpose is to build foundational strength, stability, and technique that support all styles of dance, not just ballet. Placement en pointe is always at the discretion of the instructor and based on the dancer’s safety and long-term health.
