Students attend programs independently and at the end of the 2-week intro period, we will have Parent Update where we invite parents into the dance room to watch their child.
For these summer sessions, dancers may wear clothes that allow free movement along jazz shoes or bare feet, or they may choose to be fitted with the school-year uniform and jazz shoes. To assure quality, proper fit, and uniformity, students will have shoes fitted through our school.
This class begins on June 22 and ends July 1. Class days are June 22, 24, 29, July 1.
This 2-week intro program is a combination of jazz and hip-hop. Jazz dance consists of isolations, movements that take you across the floor, leaps, jumps, and turns. The movement of hip hop is done lower to the ground including locking, breaking, and more techniques.
