Dance Dynamix I (Ballet/Jazz)
Dance Dynamix I (Grades 1+) – Ballet & Jazz Combo
Dance Dynamix I is designed for dancers who are ready to build a strong technical foundation while growing in confidence, discipline, and artistry. This ballet and jazz combo class helps dancers develop the skills needed to succeed in every style of dance.
The ballet portion of class emphasizes proper technique, body alignment, balance, flexibility, strength, musicality, and grace. Dancers will learn foundational ballet vocabulary while practicing barre work, center exercises, leaps, turns, and across-the-floor combinations. Because ballet is the foundation of all dance, developing strong technique helps prevent injury and supports success in every other dance style.
The jazz portion introduces dancers to the exciting fundamentals of jazz technique while encouraging confidence, performance quality, expression, and stage presence. Dancers will continue building coordination, flexibility, turns, leaps, and stylized movement through engaging combinations and choreography.
Throughout the season, dancers will learn one ballet routine and one jazz routine to perform in our exciting year-end showcase. As choreography becomes more detailed, dancers are challenged to strengthen their memorization skills, work independently, and demonstrate responsibility both in and out of the classroom.
Class Length: 55 minutes (35 minutes Ballet / 20 minutes Jazz)
Advancement: Promotion to Dance Dynamix II is based on each dancer’s overall readiness, including technical proficiency, memorization, classroom focus, work ethic, and behavioral maturity—not solely by age.
Monthly tuition includes our Performance Package, covering everything your dancer needs to shine on stage during our annual showcase.
