GENERAL INFO & POLICIES
PARKING & ENTRY
You may park in either lot, the large one that faces the orange door OR the long lot closer to the glass doors!
If the orange door is closed, this means the AC is on - and to please come through the glass doors! **Please do not knock on the orange doors as it disrupts class, there is a sign on the orange door that says to go around, please just go around :)
CHECKING IN AND ABSENCES
Dancers do not have to check-in at arrival after the day you've joined / signed up, we count heads! If you need to miss a day please let us know and we will send you a choreography video - just text me 650-580-3345 and I'll send it over so your dancer can catch up before the next class!
ATTIRE
Please have your dancers wear comfortable, loose fitness clothing (shorts, tee shirt, sweats, leggings, hoodie, etc) NO jeans or tight fitting or skin revealing clothing allowed. Please make sure your dancer is wearing the proper shoes to dance class, and the only appropriate shoe is a sneaker. No boots, no sandals, no crocs, no uggs, no rain boots, etc. Hair needs to be out of the dancers face (pony tail, etc)
ARRIVAL/ DROP OFF/STICK AROUND
Feel free to arrive to Rec class as early as 4pm, I'm usually just in here cleaning up.
Parents of Basic Hip Hop ages 3-6 we require one parent/family member to stay in case your child needs a potty run, my staff cannot help children use the restroom. Also because of attention spans and emotions , having a parent there helps us keep the flow of class going if a child needs special attention for a period of time.
For all other classes, drop off is totally fine, just pick up your babies on time! But if you are running behind, just text me we will wait with your child. Also, if you choose to hang out and watch any class, please just be respectful of all classes and stay quiet, take calls outside, etc.
Please try your best to be on time or to at least drop your child off right to the door so they can hop in when running late. Class starts at 4:15 basic/beginner and 5:15 teen/intermediate - parents please be diligent about this, your dancers will not understand punctuality until it's taught.
RESTROOMS
are located in the back of the cheer gym!
Follow the ORANGE AND BLACK SIGNS starting by going through the small room, out that door, make a right, passing through crossfit - you'll see TWO signs leading you through another white door, that's the cheer gym, the restrooms are in the back of it, just walk through, around the cheerleaders! Just ask if you need help locating them. Please try and make sure your dancer uses the restroom before you come or before class starts. Our restroom is far and sometimes the line is long, this unfortunately interrupts class time.
SNACKS/WATER/ BLISS MERCHANDISE
We do sell water bottles for $1. Please see me at the front desk if you need one! The vending machines are also available to you all as well, please only buy your child snacks to eat AFTER dance class, dancers should not be eating sugary snacks before class. Also, if you are looking to purchase any Bliss Merch, just ask me! We have plenty in the office.
FEEDBACK
We'd love to know about your experience at Bliss, talk to me (Fae) at the front desk with any questions/comments/concerns, I will be happy to chat! We'd love some more reviews on Google Business/Yelp/Facebook/etc as well, if you'd like!
WE ACCEPT DONATIONS/FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
We happily accept donations of water cases, cleaning supplies and office supplies all year long if you have it in your heart to bring some things by! Also, we do have fiscal sponsorship through ON STAGE VACAVILLE, so if you'd like to donate funding towards our scholarship program & studio fund - the link to do so is:

STUDIO POLICIES
1. Please be sure to always respect the space as you would your own home by cleaning up after yourself.
2. Please remember to respect the classes that are going on during your arrival and the time they are scheduled on the floor. Please remain QUIET in the lobby and discrete when going around the class to get to the Small Room or the restrooms. Also, when going through the Small Room to get to the restrooms, treat the class being held in there the same way. Disruptions may lead to being asked to step outside / please silence your phones when entering the studio at all times.
3. Please understand we DO NOT allow any junk food, soda, or energy drinks in the studio at any time, for any reason. We want our students to understand internal health, as well as physical/ mental health, are all important.
4. Please understand GUM CHEWING is 100% PROHIBITED on the dance floor, during any class. No exception is made.
5. Please understand BUAC is not responsible for lost or stolen items, secure your belongings.
6. Bliss Dance Company rehearsals are CLOSED, meaning absolutely no viewers allowed in the rooms during company rehearsals. Rec class may have viewers.
7. Payments and waivers are always due BEFORE or ON the start of any class.
8. Please understand that BUAC is a safe zone for all walks of life and we will always respect all people. Disrespecting someone based on their religion, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, or any form of bullying will NOT be tolerated.
A few More things:
-Please remind your dancer to raise their hands when they have questions, rather than blurting out or interrupting the instructors. Although dance class is FUN, it's still a teaching environment and unnecessary chatter/questions interrupts class time.
- Please remind your dancer to practice at home (if they don't already do this on their own) it should be treated like homework, worked on daily, just like athletes work on their craft outside of practices and games, dancers need to practice their craft outside of classes/rehearsals.
- Although dancing is fun, dance is still a discipline and an art form. Our program has lasted this long because of discipline and structure, not because it's just fun, it should be treated just like any sport or other team effort activity. Thank you for understanding and respecting that.
-No, we will not teach your children "TikTok dances" as that is not real dancing and most of the people doing these moves online are not actually trained dancers. Our staff are completely and fully trained in dance, with several years of training and real experience.
