ABOUT US
Rohr Studios was created from the love and passion of Jessi Rohr, a native North Westerner who has returned from her industry career in L.A. to bring quality dance to Seattle and its surrounding areas.
Jessi spent ten years in Los Angeles training and performing with some of the dance world's top teachers and choreographers. Represented by both Bloch and Go 2 Talent Agency, she worked in all aspects of the dance industry. Her hope is to give young dancers real world knowledge and training to prepare them for a career in dance, should they choose it. She focuses on equal parts technique, performance, and artistry; she wants to create not just whole dancers, but whole humans.
Jessi also wants to have a home in Rohr Studios, for all dancers to develop and grow in a positive environment where they can hone and share their art. Whether dance class is just for fun, or it is a life path, Rohr Studios will support each student's goals and give them the skills and opportunities to pursue them.

STUDIO POLICY
TUITION / RATES
There is a $35 registration fee per year for the first student in the family. There is no registration fee for Summer Session.
Class fees are based on a 44-week term for the August – June session. Tuition is divided into equal installments based on a four-week month. Months with five weeks will be charged the same payment to offset the months with less than 4 weeks.
Two weeks written notice (a withdrawal form completed, signed, and returned to us) is required to cancel enrollment and discontinue automatic payments.
Missed lessons may be made up based on available class space.
Private and semi-private lessons are available.
No refunds will be given.
Mini & Me Sessions are on a separate payment system. Participants pay for 3 week sessions.
Monthly rates are available online.
PAYMENTS
Class tuition is due on the 1st of every month.
If you sign up for Auto-Pay you can choose to have it run on the 1st or the 15th of the month.
You may pay for tuition with cash, check, card, or set up auto-pay in studio. You may also pay with your card or set up auto-pay online through our convenient Parents Portal.
There will be a $30.00 charge for returned checks.
A late fee of $10.00 will be added after the 10th of the month. All accounts must be current for students to take classes. If your tuition has fallen a month behind your student may not be allowed to participate.
Our intention for late fees is to simply ensure that we receive payments in a timely enough manner to keep the lights on so your dancer can keep dancing. Therefore we will offer a one-time convenience, that if you enroll in our autopay we will waive any late fees that have been accumulated.
No refunds for dropped or missed classes, although we do offer make up classes for specific situations (see Makeup Lessons).
REFERRAL PROGRAM
When a new student registers for classes and lists you in the "Referred By"/ “How Did You Hear About Us” section of their application you will receive 20% off your next month’s class tuition.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
In the case of extreme weather the studio will email, band and post on social media whether classes will be held in the studio.
If it is not deemed safe to come into the studio, classes will be held at home, through BAND, unless specified otherwise.
ABSENCES / MAKE-UP LESSONS
You must be actively enrolled in classes to utilize makeups for those classes.
If you know that your dancer is going to miss class you will need to enter an “expected absence” into the system through your Parents Portal. This allows teachers to know how to best plan their lessons and allows us to keep track of makeups.
Log into your Parents Portal and click the green “Attendance” button.
Click the green “Report Absence” button.
Mark the dancers you are entering the absence for. Click the gray “Next”.
Enter the dates the students will be absent.
Mark the classes they will be absent for. Enter the reason for the absence. Click the gray “Submit Absences” button.
If you have missed a class due to personal reasons (sickness, family event, vacation, etc.), or for Studio Breaks, you may schedule a makeup class with the office within 30 days of the missed class. This class must attempt to be of a similar age, and level of the class missed; however students may always makeup in lower level classes. The office will help you find a suitable makeup class for your dancer. If a makeup has not been scheduled in the allotted time, the makeup is forfeited.
No refund will be given for missed classes.
If your dancer is participating in Showcase, a dancer that misses 3 of the same class will be required to book a 30 minute private lesson to catch up on choreography.
DROP-IN CLASSES / DANCE CARDS
Drop-In rates are available online.
Drop-ins are welcome at any time. Please use your own discretion when placing in any class higher than a Tot, Pre or Level 1. If the teacher believes that a drop-ins participation in class puts that student or any other student at risk, or will largely slow down the class, that teacher may ask the student to not participate in class, or may advise in a more suitable placement.
You can purchase your Dance Card and book your Drop-ins in the Parents Portal.
If you have any questions as to what level class you should take, please email the office at info@rohrstuduos.dance
CLASS LEVELS
Once enrolled, if you would like to discuss anything relating to the class level of your dancer, you are welcome to schedule a meeting with Miss Jessi. However we will not be taking time before and after classes for this subject.
DROPPING CLASSES
If you would like to drop your account with us we require 14 days written notice.
You will receive a google form to fill out. Your 14 days will start after we receive the filled out form.
Tuition will always continue through the end of the month until we receive this written notice and reason for dropping.
No refund will be given for dropped classes.
If you choose to drop and then re-register there will be a $20.00 account reactivation fee.
LOW ATTENDANCE / INSTRUCTORS
Classes are usually opened with a minimum of 4 registered students. If there is low attendance (under 4 students) on any given week, the instructor may choose to shorten that week's class by 15 minutes. Classes with 1-3 students are considered private or semi-private lessons which are normally held at a higher rate than weekly classes. Parents will be emailed and it will be posted on band if this adjustment is made. The following week, class will resume its normal length.
Rohr Studios reserves the right to substitute or change class instructors as it suits the needs of the studio.
