Please acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following:

I confirm that I intend to enrol students for whom I have parental or guardianship responsibilities in classes conducted at Ballet Canberra and that I understand that there are risks associated with participation in dance activities. Participants in our dance classes are covered by Ballet Canberra's Liability Insurance which covers any injury or loss occasioned by reason of participation in classes and attendance at the premises where the classes are conducted.

I acknowledge that teachers are only responsible for supervision of students during class times. I agree to collect the student on time following the class, from inside the building.

I agree to ensure that the student is dressed appropriately for the relevant class, with the correct shoes required to enable full and safe participation in the relevant dance styles.

I agree that I have disclosed relevant and pertinent information about diagnosed asthma or other serious conditions to the Director prior to student's first lesson. This ensures that we are able to care for your child.

I agree that physical contact may be necessary by members of the faculty and assistants to demonstrate exercises, to try on costumes and to administer first aid. All members of staff hold current Working With Children and Vulnerable People certification in the ACT.

I agree that choreography remains the property of the studio and may only be performed with the permission of the Director.


Fee Policy
I acknowledge that fees are charged and payable by the Term, four times each year, and that I will not be entitled to any credit or refund for fees in respect of classes missed for any reason which is beyond the control of Ballet Canberra including illness of any person, injury, Public and other holidays and weather factors.

I agree to pay all fees prior to the start of each term. Fees not paid after 10 days from the start of term will incur a $50 late fee. Students whose fees are outstanding may not be re-enrolled for the following term. Fees may be paid in person via cash, cheque, bank cheque or via direct deposit . Payment plans are available, please see the 'Fee Schedule' document (under 'Info' on the portal) for information.
