01. ENROLLMENT & MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

Note: These policies apply to youth enrollment (ages 2–18). Adult students participate on a drop-in basis but are still required to agree to all studio policies and waivers.

By registering with Centre for Dance, I acknowledge and agree:
- Enrollment is continuous for the full season (July–June) unless an official online withdrawal form is submitted
- A dancer’s spot is reserved through active enrollment and payment
- Annual Membership is required for all dancers
- Membership is $50 per dancer (family maximum $80) and is non-refundable and non-transferable
- Membership levels (Spotlight, Encore, All-Access) are assigned based on participation and enrollment history
- All policies and fees are agreed to at the time of registration

Class Placement Policy:

I understand that class placement is determined by Centre for Dance based on age, skill level, technique, and overall readiness.
- Placement is designed to support the dancer’s growth and success
- Advancement is not guaranteed and is based on demonstrated ability and instructor evaluation
- Centre for Dance reserves the right to place, move, or reassign a dancer to a different class at any time if it is in the best interest of the dancer or class

02. CLASS POLICIES, ATTENDANCE & STUDIO EXPECTATIONS

Note: These policies apply to youth enrollment (ages 2–18). Adult students participate on a drop-in basis but are still required to agree to all studio policies and waivers.

I understand and agree:

ATTENDANCE & PARTICIPATION
- Consistent attendance is expected for dancer progress
- No refunds or credits are given for missed classes
- Excessive absences may impact performance participation
- To report an absence, log into your parent portal, click on attendance on the left-hand side. Then, click "report absence" and follow the directions to submit the absence.

MAKE-UP CLASSES
- Make-up classes are available when a class is missed for any reason
- Make-ups must be completed within 30 days and within the same season (current registration required)
- Enrollment must be active to be eligible for make-ups
- Make-ups do not carry over into a new season

HOLIDAYS
- Centre for Dance observes scheduled holidays during which classes will not be held (see calendar on website)
- Tuition is not prorated for holidays
- Families may choose to attend a make-up class if desired, but not required

WEATHER & STUDIO CLOSURES
- In the event of inclement weather, updates will be communicated via email, texts and social media
- Centre for Dance does not follow a specific school district for closures
- Safety decisions are made at the discretion of studio management

INTERRUPTION OF SERVICES
- If in-person classes are temporarily unavailable, classes may transition to a remote format
- Tuition will continue during remote instruction
- In cases of extended interruption, Centre for Dance reserves the right to pause or adjust services as needed

INJURY, ILLNESS & ACCOUNT FREEZES
- If a dancer is unable to participate due to injury or serious illness, a freeze may be requested at office@centrefordance.com
- A doctor’s note is required at the time of request
- Freeze period: minimum 1 month, maximum 3 months
- Freeze fee: $20 per month

STUDIO EXPECTATIONS
- Dancers must arrive on time, in proper attire, and ready to participate
- Respectful behavior is required from dancers and parents at all times
- Centre for Dance is not responsible for lost or stolen items

03. TUITION, BILLING & PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION

I understand and authorize:

-Tuition is based on the full season (minimum 39 weeks) and paid in equal monthly installments
- July is charged at 75% and June is TBD (final tuition is determined based on the end of season Showcase)
- Tuition is not based on attendance and is non-refundable
- Tuition is automatically charged on the 1st of each month
- A $30 late fee is applied after the 5th
- Accounts 2+ months past due may result in removal from classes
- Centre for Dance may charge all balances to the card on file

04. PERFORMANCE & SHOWCASE FINANCIAL AGREEMENT

Note: These policies apply to youth enrollment (ages 2–18). Adult students participate on a drop-in basis but are still required to agree to all studio policies and waivers.

Showcase is optional for students; however, participation is encouraged and is a great way for families to see what dancers have learned throughout the year. If your dancer is unable to participate in Showcase, or will only participate in certain classes, you will have the opportunity to opt-out. Additional details will be provided in advance of each Showcase.

I understand that participation in performances requires financial commitment and agree to the following:

❄️ Winter Showcase *NEW for Season 17*
Participation Fee: $70 per dancer
- Show is in December
- Fee covers showcase top and staging
- Fee due October 10th
- Fee is non-refundable

🌟 End-of-Season Showcase
- Show is in June
Costume Fee: $115 per class
- 50% due November 10th
- 50% due December 10th
Participation Fee: $100 per dancer
- 50% due January 10th
- 50% due February 10th
- All showcase fees are non-refundable
- Costumes are not guaranteed after December 10th
- Participation requires attendance at rehearsals

05. WITHDRAWALS, CREDITS & ACCOUNT POLICIES

I understand and agree:
- Withdrawal requires submission of the official online drop form by the 20th of the month
- Tuition continues through the end of the billing cycle
- No refunds or credits are given after tuition is processed
- No prorating for missed classes or mid-month withdrawals
- Past due balances may result in removal from classes

06. LIABILITY WAIVER, MEDICAL CONSENT & MEDIA RELEASE

Note: These policies apply to youth enrollment (ages 2–18). Adult students participate on a drop-in basis but are still required to agree to all studio policies and waivers.

I acknowledge and agree:
- Participation in dance involves inherent risk of injury
- I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation
- I release Centre for Dance, its staff, and affiliates from all liability
- I authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary
- I will not send my dancer if they are sick or unable to safely participate
- I grant permission for photos/videos to be used for marketing and promotional purposes

I, the undersigned, do hereby hold harmless, CENTRE for DANCE or anyone associated with CENTRE for DANCE for any injuries receive by the student listed below. I also realize that I am fully responsible for the student prior to and immediately after his/her class. I hereby grant permission for any faculty member of CENTRE for DANCE to take whatever steps they deem necessary to obtain emergency medical care for the student listed above.

In consideration of your acceptance of the enrollment, I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby waive, release and forever discharge all rights and claims against CENTRE for DANCE and/or any involved personnel for damages or injury sustained by me or my child in classes or on studio premises before or after class, or at any other outside studio activities, including recitals, workshops, performances or visits to surrounding businesses.

I authorize CENTRE for DANCE to use photos and videos taken of my child while at dance or dance functions, for marketing and promotional material.

I understand that any dancer enrolled in classes at CENTRE for DANCE is enrolled for each season continuously month to month unless written notice is received by email by the 20th of the month. After the 20th, the next month's tuition will still apply.

I agree to pay all tuition and fees at the beginning of each month and do not expect any refunds for classes missed due to absences, bad weather or holidays. In addition, I understand late fees are applied for any unpaid tuition or fees not received by the required due date.

I understand and agree that should I need to withdraw from any classes at Centre for Dance, or are no longer able to participate in the year-end showcase, that any fees paid are not refundable.

I agree to abide by the CENTRE for DANCE rules and regulations and any amendments and/or modifications thereto which may be made from time to time by CENTRE for DANCE sole discretion.
