NimbusFIT: Pilates Mat
Strengthen, lengthen, and energize your body with NimbusFIT’s Pilates Mat Class! This class focuses on core stability, flexibility, and total-body strength through controlled, flowing movements. Using breathwork and precise technique, you’ll improve posture, balance, and mobility while building deep muscular endurance.

If you are pregnant, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before participating in our adult dance or fitness classes.

While our classes are designed to be inclusive and adaptable, certain movements and exercises may not be suitable during pregnancy. Please let your instructor know before class begins so they can make the necessary modifications to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for you.

If you seek pilates instruction and are in your second or third trimester of pregnancy, we recommend you seek specific certified prenatal instructors. Unfortunately, NimbusFIT does not offer prenatal pilates at this time.

This Hatha/Vinyasa class prepares students for a deeper meditation practice by first connecting with body, movement, and breath. Through a combination of fluid sequences, structured movements and slow-paced postures, the student will not only benefit with better mobility, balance, and strength, but will also improve their mental focus, body awareness, and ability to accept. The most important is to be honest with your practice, keeping an open mind to new possibilities within your own rhythm!
