This workshop is a way for students to increase their knowledge AND love of dance! Dancers will be immersed in dance classes, dance history projects, fun team building exercises, and have a chance to experience different styles of dance they haven’t taken previously. The week long intensive will improve technique, knowledge of dance history, artistry, performance skills, and continue fostering their love of dance. Some styles of dance we will focus on include; ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, modern dance, student choreography, improvisation, and acro basics. Children who enroll should be focused dancers who have the desire to take their passion for dance to the next level and reach their full potential.
Send your dancer in a leotard and tights with all their dance shoes, a packed lunch, snack, (NUT FREE) and water bottle.
This workshop is designed for intermediate to advanced dancers who are in Level II and above. New students are welcome to attend and will be evaluated by intensive staff to determine placement. Please email (Stilladance@gmail.com) if you are unsure if the intensive is appropriate for your dancer.
