Nutcracker Bootcamp
The Nutcracker is back! After a magical inaugural production, we're thrilled to continue the tradition with our 2026 Nutcracker Bootcamp — and this year, it's even better. Returning dancers will build on what they learned last year while new campers dive in for the first time. During Bootcamp, dancers will sharpen their technique, explore the Nutcracker storyline and characters, begin choreography, and have the opportunity to audition (optional). August 11-13, 10am-2pm. $25 nonrefundable registration fee, $150 total.

Dancers cast in The Nutcracker are required to enroll in dance class (ballet or jazz) at MPAS for the fall semester. Camp attendees are not required to audition for The Nutcracker.

Ballet III-V is a single summer class designed to meet dancers where they are, guiding each student through progressively challenging classical technique in a supportive and focused environment. From mastering traditional barre exercises and transferring that work to center combinations, to refining turn out, placement, port de bras, and coordination, dancers will build strength, flexibility, and musicality throughout the session. Advanced students will be challenged with more complex combinations and a deeper focus on artistry and performance quality, while all levels are encouraged to grow in confidence and technique. Adaptive dance is a class designed to serve those with differing abilities and needs. We want to provide an inclusive environment where all can feel comfortable to learn. This class will follow ballet basics with some jazz thrown in to keep things fun. We are very open to conversation about how we can best serve those interested in this class. Geared toward ages 3-10. Parents & caretakers are welcome and encouraged to attend.
