One Week or Drop In Summer Intensive (Age 9+)
Practicing for two hours every day dancers will refine their skills and keep their love of dance alive over the summer break. Every class will include technique and choreographed practice. On Thursday there will be a short demonstration in the final 10 minutes of class open to parents and guardians.

Recommended for male dancers age 8 and up. This is a supplementary class to be paired with one of our regular Ukrainian folk dance classes. Dancers age 7 with dance experience may also enroll, dependent on approval from instructor & artistic director.
A special class for our male dancers to build the skills required to execute steps and tricks safely. Male dancers of multiple ages will dance together in the same class.

This is an enhancement class for dancers registered in Sonechko, Promin, Viter. This class is recommended for dancers age 8 - 10(as of December 31).
Students will refine their Ukrainian dance technique and learn choreography for studio concerts, festivals and performances in the wider community.
This class requires a higher level of commitment than regular weekly classes. Families should be prepared for multiple performance opportunities, sometimes with short notice. This class will participate in at least one out of town festival.

Recommended for adults. This class will be a more gentle version of our popular adult program. Classes will include a warm up, basic technique focused on balance and coordination, folk dance steps/combinations and a cool down. Perfect for dancers who are new to Ukrainian dance or dancers who require a more gentle approach due to injuries or other limitations.
Individuals from this class may be invited to participate in our spring concert. Spring concert rehearsals will take place outside of class time. A small costume fee will be collected for dancers who choose to perform.
