Dance the Magic is part of the MDC Twinkle Star Method is a preschool and school age curriculum based on four pillars of learning: 1). Skill Building 2). Center Movement 3). Just for Fun 4). Showtime!
These classes contain ballet, tap, and jazz/creative movement. Dancers also learn basic terminology in these styles. For example, all dancers will learn a Plie' and how to demonstrate one. The fairytale dance class provides a unique and fun introduction to the world of dance. We emphasize an encouraging learning experience that builds self-esteem and confidence. Each class has a lesson plan and is structured to develop proper dance technique with ballet as the base. Descendants Dance Camp invites dancers to step into the magical world of Disney’s Descendants. Campers will learn fun choreography inspired by their favorite villains-turned heroes, exploring styles from hip-hop, musical theater to jazz. Through music, movement, and creative activities, children will develop coordination, boost confidence, and make new friends in a supportive environment. Join us for a week of wickedly good fun as we celebrate the power of choosing good! Dancers are encouraged to dress in style and celebrate their favorite villain all week long. At the end of the week parents are invited to watch their child perform what they have learned.
