2026-2027 VDA Waivers & Policies

TUITION & BILLING POLICY:
Tuition is due on the 1st of every month and considered late after the 5th.
A $10 late fee will automatically apply after the 5th — no exceptions.
A student is not officially registered in class until the registration fee and first month’s tuition are paid.
All families must enroll in Auto Pay through our secure portal. Auto Pay is processed on the 1st of each month to help avoid late fees.
Tuition is an annual fee split into 10 equal monthly payments, regardless of holidays, studio closures, student absences, or the number of classes in a month.
Months such as December (Winter Break) and June are still billed at full monthly tuition.
Annual discount: 10% off if paid in full (cash/check only)
Sibling discount: $10 off 2nd child, $20 off 3rd, etc.
A $35 NSF fee will be charged for accounts with insufficient funds.
RECITAL COSTUMES & POLICY:
Costume Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and due the week of November 14-19, 2026.
Costume Fees are starting at $95 & vary depending on the class level & style
Recital Fee is TBA - NON-REFUNDABLE and due the week of March 22–27, 2026.
Please note that the recital fee is separate from the costume fee. The recital fee covers expenses such as the venue, lighting, sound, production crew, insurance, and all other costs associated with the event.
By signing this policy, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms outlined.
If your dancer misses a class, you may email us to schedule a make-up (based on availability).
Make-ups are not available for holidays and end after March 1st, once recital choreography is underway.
To withdraw, a 30-day written notice via email is required.
Tuition is non-refundable, but any unused balance will be held as a credit for one year.
Monthly billing will continue until written notice is received.
WAIVERS & INSURANCE:
All students are required to carry their own family health coverage. Visions Dance Academy shall not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that may be sustained. It is understood that each student’s own policy is their only source of reimbursement. Please fill out the box pertaining to medical issues such as ALLERGIES on your PORTAL. You can do this by logging in to your portal, click on manage students, double click child’s name and edit. This info shows up on the Ipad Class Manager when the Instructor checks attendance.
PHOTO RELEASE WAIVER:
I hereby grant permission for videos and photographs to be taken during class time and other performances. I understand that this media will be produced and used for advertising purposes and all social media. I authorize Visions Dance Academy to use my photograph or video on their website, printed material, and/or all social media without further consideration. I also acknowledge that Visions Dance Academy may not choose to use my photo/video at this time, but may do so at its own discretion or at a later date. I also understand that there is no compensation for this media.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK WAIVER:
I student/adult acknowledge the existence of certain inherent risks involved in the physical activities student/adult is enrolling for. I further relieve Visions Dance Academy, instructors, assigned staff and fellow students from any liability resulting from loss, whether personal belongings or bodily injury. I also hereby state, that myself or my child is physically fit to take the prescribed course of instruction and do so of my own free will in exchange for an agreed upon fee. I understand there is a no refund policy on any monies I will pay Visions Dance Academy.
