You will be required to register via the Parent Portal link provided. The information collected includes personal data, which will be securely stored in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation Act (GDPR). ZDA will not share your information with third parties, except where required by law or with your consent. If your child is taking exams, we may need to provide their name, date of birth, and ethnicity. Please ensure your information is kept up to date.
A £25 registration fee will be added to your first invoice, which includes a ZDA T-shirt.

Fees
Fees are due on or before the first day of each term, and an invoice will be sent prior to the start of term. Should you need to make changes to your child’s classes, please inform the Principal (Kielah Robinson) by the end of the term, so adjustments can be made before the next term’s invoices are generated.
A £5 per week late fee will be added to any overdue payments starting from the second week of term. After 3 weeks of non-payment, your child will not be permitted to attend classes until all fees, including late charges, are paid in full. Fees are non-refundable.

Trial Classes
ZDA offers free trial classes for new students. If you decide to join after the trial, fees will be due, and you will be charged accordingly.

Uniform & Appearance
Correct uniform must be worn in each class. Hair should be styled off the face.
Uniforms can be purchased through the Parent Portal only. Do not get cheaper imitations we want all the children wearing the same as a team.. For safety reasons, no jewelry is allowed in class. Please label all uniform items. Students are expected to be in full ZDA uniform 4 weeks after joining.

Physical Contact
During lessons, it may be necessary for teachers to use physical contact to provide effective correction and instruction. This will always be done with care and professionalism.

Photos & Videos
Photographs and videos of your child may be used for ZDA’s website, social media, marketing, promotional purposes, or as learning tools. By agreeing to our terms, you consent to your child being included in such media. ZDA reserves the right to use images indefinitely.

Classes
If your child cannot attend a class, please notify us in advance via your Parent Portal.
Ensure your child arrives on time, dressed in the correct uniform and footwear. Please inform us of any changes to drop-off/pick-up arrangements, medical conditions, or other circumstances that may affect your child’s well-being.
Lateness before or after classes will not be tolerated. You will be charged if more than 5 minutes late more than twice in a term.

Cancelled Classes
In the event of government-mandated closures, remaining classes will be conducted via Zoom, and no refunds will be given. If ZDA cancels a class or camp, fees will be credited to your Parent Portal account for future classes.

Personal Property
ZDA cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged personal property. A lost property box is available for found items. Please avoid bringing valuables to class.

Exams
ZDA enters students for dance & singing exams. Students will only be entered when the teacher determines they have reached the required standard. As children develop at different rates, parents will be notified when their child is ready for entry. Extra practice sessions will be required closer to exam time. Please note that exams are not compulsory, and ZDA reserves the right to withdraw students from an exam if necessary. Exam fees must be paid by the invoice due date.

Equal Opportunities
ZDA promotes equal opportunities for all. We strive to create an inclusive environment where students, staff, and visitors are treated fairly, regardless of race, disability, gender, age, religion, belief, culture, or background. We have zero tolerance for bullying, and any incidents will be taken very seriously. At ZDA, we are committed to providing a caring, friendly, and safe environment, allowing all students to learn in a supportive atmosphere.

Leaving ZDA
If you no longer wish to attend ZDA, please notify ZDA as soon as possible. Half a term’s written notice is required, or you will be liable to pay for the next term.
