Welcome to American Dance Academy!
Thank you for joining us at ADA. To complete your registration, please read and accept the following Policies & Waiver Agreement:
TUITION & PAYMENT POLICIES:
Season Classes (September–May) (This does not apply to Summer or 6–8 Week Sessions)
* Tuition for Season Classes is an annual fee, divided into 10 equal monthly payments.
* Payments may be made by cash, check, credit card, or debit card at any time before the monthly due date.
* Any balance remaining on the due date will be automatically charged to your saved payment method.
* If a credit card is declined, it will be retried every 7 days.
* If a valid card is not provided by the 8th of the month, a $20 late fee will be applied.
Summer & 6–8 Week Sessions:
* A $20 deposit per class is due at registration.
* The remaining balance is due on the first day of class and will be charged to the saved payment method unless another form of payment is received.
TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS
A. Pay in Full (Non-refundable)
B. Two Installments via Auto-Pay (at registration and February 1) – Non-refundable
C. Monthly Plan: 10 Automatic Payments from September to May. The first payment is due at registration and is non-refundable.
* A saved payment method is required on file for all accounts. However, you may pay by cash or check prior to the due date to avoid Auto-Pay charges.
WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS
* If you wish to withdraw from class, you must notify us in writing at least two weeks in advance by completing the Student Withdrawal Form available on our website.
* Tuition is due and payable until formal withdrawal is submitted and processed.
* All payments are non-refundable.
* Approved credits may be applied only to immediate family member accounts.
* A Registration Fee is required any time a student returns within the same September–May season.
PAYMENT POLICIES & FEES
* Returned Checks: Subject to a $30 fee.
* Credit Card Payments: 2.7% convenience fee
* ACH Payments (bank draft): 0.8% convenience fee
* These fees are non-refundable and cover the cost of processing. Cash and check payments do not incur a fee.
INSURANCE & LIABILITY WAIVER
American Dance Academy does not provide medical insurance for students. All dancers must be covered by their own family’s insurance policy. By participating in any class, workshop, rehearsal, or performance, you acknowledge and accept the risk of physical injury. You agree to assume full responsibility for any injury that may occur to your child or yourself while participating in any ADA activity.
STUDIO GUIDELINES
* No gum chewing is allowed in class.
* Long hair must be tied back and secured.
* ADA is not responsible for children who are not in class. Please ensure timely drop-off and pick-up.
* In case of emergency, call our front desk at 302-234-9900.
* Students and parents are expected to conduct themselves respectfully at all times. Negative or unkind behavior toward others will not be tolerated.
* ADA occasionally uses photos of classes for promotional purposes. If you do not consent, please send us an email so we may note your preference.
* Water is permitted between classes only. Drinks are not allowed inside the dance rooms.
