Parent & Participant Behavior Waiver and Agreement

DANZSTAR FAITH-BASED DANCE STUDIO
At DanzStar, we strive to honor God through dance while fostering a safe, respectful, and uplifting environment for all dancers and families. Participation in studio activities, competitions, conventions, and events is a privilege and reflects the values of our studio.
By signing this agreement, parents/guardians and dancers acknowledge and agree to the following:
Behavior at the Studio and Studio Events
The behavior of dancers and their families at competitions, conventions, and studio events is a direct reflection of DanzStar’s values and reputation. All individuals must demonstrate kindness, respect, and professionalism toward everyone in attendance, including participants from other studios. Inappropriate, disrespectful, or harmful comments will not be tolerated.
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited at all DanzStar events and on studio premises:
Profane or offensive language
Use or possession of alcohol or illegal substances
Any behavior that creates an unsafe, disruptive, or hostile environment
Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the event and/or dismissal from the DanzStar program without refund.
Family-Friendly & Faith-Based Environment
All participants are expected to remain mindful of the presence of children at all times and help maintain a family-friendly, Christ-centered atmosphere that reflects the mission and values of DanzStar.
Smoking Policy
For the health and comfort of our dancers and staff, individuals who smoke are kindly asked not to enter the studio immediately after smoking, as lingering odors can be distracting and triggering to others. Please note that the Director and several team members have asthma, and precautions must be taken to maintain a clean and breathable environment for all.
Agreement & Acknowledgment
I understand that failure to comply with this behavior policy may result in disciplinary action, including removal from events or dismissal from the program.
I agree to support the values of DanzStar Dance Studio and to ensure that my dancer and family members follow the guidelines outlined in this agreement.
