PARENTS CODE OF ETHICS
The purpose of our Competitive Division is to provide all dancers with a healthy, encouraging environment where they can grow both as performers and individuals.
As a parent I recognize the importance of dance in the lives of our young people. I pledge that I will participate in my child's dance activities in accordance with the following rules.
I will promote teamwork, sportsmanship and a competitive spirit for all dancers and spectators in a positive manner.
I will not question the judgment of any faculty member or choreographer.
I will support my child’s team, teachers and choreographers as they feel best benefits the entire team.
Because I am a role model for my child as well as other dancers, my personal conduct at the studio, performances, competitions and other studio events must be above reproach. And represents the highest standards of morality, teamwork and sportsmanship.
I therefore pledge that:
I will exhibit exemplary behavior at the studio, performances, and competitions for our dancers, other parents and spectators.
I will at all times control my emotions and will be considerate of all dancers, parents, and teachers.
I will not make disparaging remarks of any type with regard to teachers, choreographers, choreography placement, costumes, other parents, competitive judges, other schools or publicly criticize them in the studio or over the course of an event.
I accept these expectations and agree to conduct myself according to the principles and regulations of District 905 Dance Studio.
DANCER CODE OF ETHICS

As a member of the Competitive Division, I recognize the importance of dance and the responsibility that comes with being part of a team. I pledge to participate in all dance activities in accordance with the following principles:
I will promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive competitive spirit for all dancers and spectators.
I will respect the judgment and decisions of all faculty members and choreographers.
I will support my teammates, teachers, and choreographers and trust the decisions made for the benefit of the entire team.
As a representative of the studio, my conduct at the studio, performances, competitions, and other studio events must reflect the highest standards of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Therefore, I pledge that:
I will demonstrate exemplary behavior at the studio, performances, competitions, and all studio events.
I will control my emotions and show consideration and respect for the feelings of others.
I will not make disparaging remarks of any type with regard to teachers, choreographers, choreography placement, costumes, other parents, competitive judges, other schools or publicly criticize them in the studio or over the course of an event.
I will represent the studio with integrity, kindness, and professionalism at all times.
I accept these expectations and agree to conduct myself according to the principles and regulations of District 905 Dance Studio.
